Earlier this evening, at least one hundred protesters showed up outside the Phoenix office of Senator John McCain (RINO-AZ) and his throwing down the gauntlet to union workers. The price of admission? One head of lettuce and a resume/job application! There were also high winds across the Valley, with some gusts as high as 60 mph, but that didn’t stop these people.
All the speakers at the protest denounced McCain, as well as the lowering of prevailing wages due to the huge influx of the Illegals into the country, and also the pending legislation in Congress to grant Illegals amnesty. Click on the thumbnails above to see some of the pictures at the rally. Gotta hand it to that kid. Give him time, he’s still in school!

Over the last few weeks I decided to do a spot check of the time stamps when comments are made. Nothing wrong at all with the commenting. I then went back and adjusted the time window where an article’s comment section are open. I found out they were way too long, so I’ve adjusted them accordingly, and this will not affect in any way your ability to comment in a timely manner.
Thank you. We now return you to your regular programming.
Be On The Lookout for stolen flash cards and/or hard drives from Bagram, Afghanistan. If you see them on eBay, you may get into a bidding war and end up on the short end of the (memory) stick:
Most were blank or did not work, but three contained data that appeared to have come from inside the base, including a soldier’s military discharge certificate, troop resumes and photographs of Air Force One during a visit to Afghanistan by President Bush last month.
The surfacing of the stolen computer devices has sparked an urgent American military investigation to discover how security was breached at the base.
As such, they are compromised materials. Once the source is discovered, heads will roll…but fortunately, not in the manner favorable to the Taliban.
Yesterday one of my friends here in town asked me if I wanted to go to a D-backs game on Sunday! I told him “Sure! And can we also go to a game when the Giants are in town? I want to boo the hell out of Barry Bonds!”
Not only does a new book allege that Bonds used steroids, the Feds are now investigating him for lying to the Congress about it. What gets me is that according to the story, Bonds’ legal team is unaware of this. Even if they weren’t aware a few days ago, they sure are now!
I also have to wonder if major league teams are concocting tactics to deal with Bonds, so he doesn’t pass Babe Ruth or approach Hank Aaron; for example, intentional walks. Dodgers radio announcer Vin Scully has already gone on record saying he doesn’t want to call the game where Bonds hits home run #756. Maybe he’ll take the hint…and retire.
