Went to the game today at [**cough cough**] Chase Field vs. the NL Champion Houston Astros. What killed the game for the Diamondbacks was a 7-run 6th inning, resulting in an 8-5 victory for the ‘Stros.
There was an omen of things to come during this inning, when a bird apparently got smacked in left field. It flopped around on the field and could no longer fly. One of the groundskeepers came out and removed the bird, and hopefully put it out of its misery.
This only means that for Diamondbacks games, I’m 1-1. Still had fun, although all my family is back East.

And this comes from an Indian! Amazing how something written nearly four years ago will have new light shed upon it, given the current border security situation. When I finished, I had to pick my jaw up off the floor.
