Every so often I see a bumper sticker on some liberal’s vehicle (some are Volvos, others are econoboxes, still others are monster SUVs) which state the following: “It will be a great day when our schools get all the money they need and the Air Force has to hold a bake sale to buy a bomber.” Lo and behold, a Houston radio station has done something very close to that: hold a fundraiser for purchasing a JDAM to drop in Afghanistan!
What’s even better about this is: whoever bought a CD to help raise the JDAM funds will be entered in a drawing…and the winner will by flown by the radio station to Washington, DC to sign the bomb! One can only imagine what he or she will sign; I’m sure the Air Force will ask them to keep it nice and relatively clean.
I can also see the liberals stomp their feet and gnash their teeth that we stole one of their ideas and turned it to our advantage. YAY!

...and it’s a Whopper!

This here’s for all the marbles, ladies and gentlemen. I have 100 hours and 4 weeks of study time to put in to prepare myself for the Series 7 Exam. It’s tough road ahead, so you now have Fair Warning where a lot of my free time is gonna go.
Note to Taco Bell: This time, let this hit anywhere in the US and give us all a Free Taco!
U.S. official confirmed that the spy satellite is designated by the military as US 193. It was launched in December 2006 but almost immediately lost power and cannot be controlled. It carried a sophisticated and secret imaging sensor but the satellite’s central computer failed shortly after launch. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because the information is classified as secret.
And you know who’ll go apes**t over that secret information!
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the guy who calls the birth of Jesus Christ a “legend,” is reaching out yet again with this wonderful idea:
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, has called for new laws to protect religious sensibilities that would punish “thoughtless and cruel” styles of speaking.
Dr Williams, who has seen his own Anglican Communion riven by fierce invective over homosexuality, said the current blasphemy law was “unworkable” and he had no objection to its repeal.
But whatever replaces it should “send a signal” about what was acceptable.
This should be done by “stigmatising and punishing extreme behaviours” that have the effect of silencing argument.
I give you three guesses as to which religion this will be applied against, and the first two do not count. ‘Dr.’ Williams has dropped the soap yet again. None of us have the right to not be offended, and many European politicians insist on legislating away hate speech, as distateful as it is; that is why Europe is dying and that is not how you fight it.
I swear, today’s generation of “journalists” who work for the MSM doesn’t know what the hell they’re doing. Check this picture out:

Do you see anything wrong with this picture? Well, no. However, here’s the caption which goes with the article:
A U.S. soldier looks through a pair of binoculars on his rifle as he patrols the Jaji district of the southeastern Paktia province, near the Afghan-Pakistan border January 28, 2008.

Dammit Mr. Masood, that’s a SCOPE on that rifle, not a pair of frakkin’ binoculars! But all the better to shoot the Bad Guys with…snicker!

Now that Shrillary has won for the Donks, she’s going to figure a way to get those Florida delegates seated in her favor at the convention. Over on the GOP side, talks are going on between McCain and Giuliani…so stay tuned on that one. Now if they can get Huckabee and the Head Ronulan out!
For those of you who salivate at the prospect of Senator McCain picking Senator Lieberman as his running mate…please don’t:
“No, I’d tell him, ‘Thanks, John, I’ve been there, I’ve done that. You can find much better’...I’m not seeking anything else.”
And he’s right. While Joe Lieberman has endorsed McCain, which really pissed off lots of Donks, he needs to be there to pick up the pieces of what’s left of the Democratic Party.
Now here’s something which doesn’t surprise me at all…there is a member of my family who has used this word in the past, in the same manner as described in this story. To be fair, the story goes on to say that it is possible for Canadians to sit on a US jury…if they have dual citizenship, eh.
Basil longingly remembers when the History Channel was…the Hitler Channel! Now they’ve got stuff on there like dealing with future events. There I agree with Basil, that isn’t history. Yet.
It seems SciFi has the same problem. Now they’ve got stuff on there like…ECW? Ghost Hunters International? Those are just two examples. Methinks they’ve diversified a bit too much.
This is what happens when the US Army unleashes Death by Apache:
GOD, and not Allah, will sort them out.

This is no joke: the son of Governor Kathleen Sebelius (D-KS), who gave the Democrats’ rebuttal for President Bush’s final State Of The Union speech, makes this board game where the object is to:
Fight your way through 6 different exciting locations in hopes of being granted parole. Escape prison riots in The Yard, slip glass into a mob boss’ lasagna in the Cafeteria, steal painkillers from the nurse’s desk in the Infirmary, avoid being cornered by the Aryans in the Shower Room, fight off Latin Kings in Gang War, and try not to smoke your entire stash in The Hole.
I wonder if there are options for players to convert to a certain RoPMA™?
Thought I’d be talkin’ ‘bout the Cylons, weren’t ya!

In upgrading the hard drive this past Saturday night, I decided to take the old system and make it into a bootable drive for emergency purposes. Granted, this may be old Toaster tech, but it still is a good idea. Just in case.

Many web sites have what are called RSS (for “Really Simple Syndication”) feeds, for readers to keep up to date with the latest posts. This blog has them as well, but in the past they’ve been pretty much buried in the main page if you know where to look for them.
Well, that’s changing. Starting today, you can now subscribe by simply clicking on the orange RSS icon (blue text icon in Safari) which shows up in your browser’s address bar. The default is RSS 2.0, so be sure to have an RSS reader compatible with that standard. RSS 1.0 and Atom are still available, they’re just located in the left-hand column under “Syndication.”
Seeing that there’s a very special anniversary coming up for the Palestinians…their ‘catastrophe’ brought about by the Arabs themselves, mind you…I can see Hamastanian subjects commanded to do this.
A SENIOR Hamas official warned yesterday that the next breakout from the Gaza Strip could be into Israel, with 500,000 Palestinians attempting to march towards the towns and villages from which they or their parents fled or were expelled 60 years ago.
“This is not an imaginary scenario and many Palestinians would be prepared to sacrifice their lives,” said Ahmed Youssef, political adviser to Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniya.
So what happened recently with the Egyptians was just a dry run for an actual invasion of Israel. Simply marvelous. NOT.
Since his wife, the other co-Presidential candidate, is running a bitterly divisive campaign along race and gender lines…especially against Obama, is it any wonder Bill would say something like this?

The 2008 Presidential election is already the dirtiest in a long, long time; both he and his wife are desperate to get back into power and they are employing desperate measures. I can see why the Islamofascists (and anyone who tacitly support their cause, either silently or openly) are rubbing their hands with glee.
