BREAKING: Justice David Souter to Retire

Filed under: | SCOTUS and The Law

Word from NPR that Associate Justice David Souter is going to step down from the Supreme Court, giving Президент Оба́ма his first opportunity to start packing the Court the way he wants it. Granted, the guy is from the liberal side, but the Президент‘s choice will tell us yet again where he wants to take the country.
Again, I ask all of you to continue to pray for the continued good health of the conservative members of the Court for the next four years and then some.

It Really IS The Demo☭rats’ Mess Now

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

Here’s the present the Congress gave Президент Оба́ма for his 100th day in office: The Fixcal Year 2010 budget conference report was passed by the House 233 Yea, 193 Nay, with 7 Not Voting.
Again, you will see that the Senate passed the conference report in the same fashion: 53 Yea, 43 Nay, 3 Not Voting. Senator Sphincter was listed as a Republican at this point. I wonder if this vote took place before his defection.
No matter. This is what the Demo☭rats hath wrought upon our country:

Reid’s Deal With Sphincter

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

I had to make a night-time pit stop, not feeling well…and when I logged in I found this wonderful story which will have Republicans laughing their a**es off at the Donks once again, as painful as it’s gonna be for the country.
Word is now out that Senator Harry Reid cut a deal with defector Senator Arlen Sphincter, allowing him to keep his 28 years’ seniority. This has Demo☭rat Senators more than a little bit pissed off. Sayet Senator Barbara Mikulski (D-MD):

“I won’t be happy if I don’t get to chair something because of Arlen Specter. I’m happy with the Democratic order BUT I don’t want to be displaced because of Arlen Specter.”

Go ahead Senator Mikulski…stomp our feet and throw a temper tantrum. You got what you wanted…Senator Sphincter on your side of the aisle. Now deal with the consequences.

Clear Channel To Cut 590 Radio Positions

When I read this report, I started praying that no one from KFYI gets cut. To wit:

Bruce Jacobs: RIOT! With a trademark laugh to boot.
Barry Young: His “audience” schtick has stuck with me. He also happens to be married to Kim Komando.
JD Hayworth: Professional to the point where he deserves a higher office. Like, say, United States Senator from Arizona.

So if you have a Clear Channel station in your area, pray for your DJs.

Dear Senator McCain:

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

Now that Senator Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania has checked out of the Republican Party, why not do us a favor and join him? Your stances on Campaign Finance “Reform” and Illegals’ Amnesty sit well with the Donks. So please, cross the line now and then we, the Voters of Arizona, can kick your a** out in November 2010.

Sincerely,
Macker

He Couldn’t Handle The Truth

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

Well well well…Michael D’Antuono’s chickening out and won’t be unveiling his painting after all! Fausta notes that he issued the following apology:

I just thought that through that painting people would see different things. The right and the left would have different interpretations of it based on their political lens. But I have to admit I was very surprised that instead of that I got thousands of email complaining on the religious front. And that was not my intent at all. I wanted to create a dialog politically but not religiously. I didn’t mean to make fun of anybody’s religion; maybe I did so naively but I didn’t mean it that way. In the bible Jesus is The Truth and comparing Obama that way isn’t something I meant to do at all.

We’ll soon see how fast he changes his website. Just for posterity, I took a snapshot of the page in question:

Sorry Michael, cat’s out of the bag.

Your Taxpayer Dollars At Work

It was a bright and sunny morning…when one day, an Air Force VC-25 showed up in the skies over New York City. The aircraft proceeded to buzz Lower Manhattan and ultimately, the Statue of Liberty, while photographers snapped opportunistic shots to portray a beautiful patriotic backdrop.
NOT:

This of course scared the crap out of the People of New York City, who remember all too well what happened on a bright and sunny morning. The Mayor was furious. Then a White House military officer, Louis Caldera, threw himself under the bus:

“Last week, I approved a mission over New York. I take responsibility for that decision. While federal authorities took the proper steps to notify state and local authorities in New York and New Jersey, it’s clear that the mission created confusion and disruption. I apologize and take responsibility for any distress that flight caused.”

Remember folks, Президент Оба́ма and the Demo☭rats are doing this because they can. They play fiddles while the country burns.

Оба́ма Is Not The Messiah

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

Michael D’Antuono is about to disgrace Union Square in New York City with this painting this coming Wednesday, the one hundredth day in office for Президент Оба́ма:

As distasteful as this is, let me also state loudly and clearly for the record that Бара́к Хусе́йн Оба́ма is also NOT the Antichrist. HE IS A MAN and ONLY A MAN, with an agenda to transform this country in the worst way possible.

Star Trek Won’t Work Here, Abdullah

Filed under: | War on Terror

King Abdullah II of Jordan, whose father kicked Yasser Arafat’s a** and his PLO goons out of his country back in 1970, warns that there will be another war within 18 months if nothing is done to resolve the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
You don’t say.
Tell ya what, O King. Set aside your Star Trek-like fantasy and be a STATESMAN and take in those folks in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. After all, the vast majority of your citizens are Palestinian, are they not? Since your dad, who did the right thing back then, isn’t around, and neither is Yasser Arafat, you can follow your dad’s example and make Jordan the country it was always supposed to be: the Palestinian state.
But that’d be too easy, wouldn’t it?

Yeee-HAWWWWWW!

It isn’t often when I go shootin’, but when I do, I enjoy it immensely, because I’m exercising my Second Amendment right to Bear Arms. Today, Colonel Panik and I went out to the Rio Salado Sportsmans Club, where there’s an outdoor range. I helped him calibrate his newest addition to his arsenal, a SIG 556:

After we finished calibrating it, the Colonel handed it over to me, and I got to fire a few rounds into the target 25 yards away. I seemed to do OK with it. Then he takes it, fires at a target 300 yards away…and hits it! Lucky son of a gun.
I would definitely consider adding this weapon to my arsenal…if only to piss off Crappy Nappy.

Ancient Sports Bar!

I’m keeping my eyes peeled for other downtown Vancouver Caprica City landmarks, and sure enough, here’s one:

See that name in the establishment across the street from the diner where Joe Adama and Daniel Graystone sit and commiserate? Yep, there really IS such a place. Now watch the patronage go way up at that joint…and not just because it’s the NHL Playoffs either. Yagger’s is definitely on my list of places to visit in Vancouver!

They Once Built Excitement

Twenty years ago, I used to own a 1987 Pontiac Grand Am SE 4-door sedan. Maroon color with maroon interior. Cop Magnet to be sure. And it pissed my ex-wife off to no end. THAT was reason enough to drive it. That little sucker was FAST!
Now, GM is killing the brand. Perhaps it’s good that it is ending. One reason could be GM’s tendency to rebrand everything under the sun into a Pontiac, when they couldn’t produce anything unique. Remember the Pontiac Firefly? Or the G3? Canadians will. The Solstice was a cool-looking roadster, but too little too late. And their last two efforts were brought in from Down Under: the “revived” GTO and the G8.
Then there’s all that history: the Firebird, Bonneville, Tempest, Fiero, the original GTO. I won’t even get into the Union bulls**t, nor the sheer monolithic size of GM which also led to this. It’s only a matter of time until we know whether GM itself will survive with just Chevrolet, Buick, Cadillac, and GMC.
Farewell, Pontiac. No more will Nitwits think you’re a Cadillac. Rest In Peace.

Fire Janet Napolitano!

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

Especially after the crazy-a** remarks Crappy Nappy made regarding how and where the 9/11 Terrorists got into the United States, and against the 9/11 Commission report, angering the Canadians in the process, there’s now a web site calling for her ouster.:

Careful! The Photoshopper didn’t get rid of the balls…
