Back in November 2005, I took a friend on a photo shoot of Roosevelt Dam, which is approaching its Centennial. My truck underwent a 44-mile rough ride on Apache Trail just to get there. This time, however, I drove the other way: US 60 through Globe, to AZ 188, for a one-way distance of about 90 miles from Phoenix’s eastern City Limits.
Man, was it a fun drive! Lots of road curves, the weather was warm but not hot, as I was at altitude of anywhere from 2800 to just over 4000 feet. Towns like Superior, Miami, and Globe are certainly a throwback to a bygone era.
And when I got to Roosevelt Lake and Dam, it is so quiet up there, even when a vehicle goes by! You can almost hear a pin drop. What a place to get away.

OK, we have a man who, as Выбранный Сенатор, hushed up any and all discussion regarding his father being a Muslim. “Oh he’s been a Christian for a long time!” they would say.
And then he got elected and was sworn into office. But back in April, in a speech to the Turkish Parliament, الرئيس أوباما began to openly declare his Muslim heritage:

“...Americans have Muslims in their families or have lived in a Muslim majority country. I know, because I am one of them.”

Good. Since he brought up the subject himself, we can now talk freely about his heritage, and if those who support him decry us as Racists, then they can take their accusation and shove it sideways up their a**.
Do I think الرئيس أوباما is a Muslim? Yes I do, and it’s because of the very fact that, since his father is Muslim, then by their own cultural definition, he is also Muslim. And since he also boasts about his Christian background…then in the eyes of the Muslims themselves, he is an apostate, because one can never leave Islam once converted or born into it…under pain of death. But since he’s الرئيس, the Muslims will simply say he is one of their own, which leaves him free to practice a tactic quite familiar to them.
