OMG THE LIONS WON!

It is a good thing to know that the Lions have now won as many games as they did last year. Of course, that blown call by the refs cost them a third victory, but hey, this is the NFL we’re talking about.
And of course, Redskins Fans are not happy with Donovan McNabb’s performance. Gee, do you think he continues to suck even after he left Philly?

League of Women Voters Get B***h-Slapped

Filed under: | Axis of Donks | Republicans

This occurred at a recent debate forum in Illinois’ 8th Congressional District. It isn’t Joe Walsh, the Republican candidate, who does this to the League. It’s THE PEOPLE who say “You don’t like what we’re asking? FRAK YOU, we’re doing it anyway!”
Just goes to show you where this el cubo group really stands:

Perhaps we should come up with a new Pledge of Allegiance for those liberals?

“I pledge allegiance to the rags
Who run the United States of America.
And to the thugocracy for which it stands,
One Nation, Under Stan,
With Slavery and Oppression for all!”

I Must Be For…The Apocalypse

All it will take for the GOP to regain control of the House of Representatives is a 39-seat gain. Most pundits are centering on 45 to 70 seats switching hands.
I’ve had the opinion for some time is that the Donks will lose 100 SEATS, that’s how pissed off the country is. I don’t claim to have a crystal ball for this, it’s just my opinion, and I’d even be shocked were this to come to pass. We’ll find out in six days.
That said, zombie has compiled a list of Victory Metaphors which I will definitely use one week from today.

House Banking Committee Chair Freaked

Filed under: | Axis of Donks

DANG! I’ll bet you didn’t think Барни Франк would be capable of this, but apparently, he is. His partner got called out recently after a debate between the Конгрессман and his opponent. His response is classic and ripe for ridicule:

“Jim thhould have bwoken it off and not rethponded. But Bielat thhouldn’t have initiated the convewthation. I don’t thee what wath inappwopwiate about taking hith pictuwe.’’
….
“Jim’th new to political campaigning. He taketh it mowe pewthonally than thomeone who’th uthed to it.”
….
“You know, he callth me dude. I didn’t wealize that wath twoubling people. He callth all thorts of people dude.”

Of all the Demo☭rats up for re-election, nothing would please me more than to see Барни Франк voted out of office!

NPR Fires Juan Williams

Juan Williams is one of the few liberal newscasters I respect. He is honest about his stances, and it got him into trouble with National Palestine Radio, when he discussed Bill O’Reilly’s recent appearance on Thie View. You know, the one where Whoopi and Joy storemed off the set:

“Look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Fired for telling the Truth. Imagine that. Fox News should most definitely keep him around, because he helps to provide a more balanced representation of the other side of the aisle.

Banned By The NBA

Filed under: | Business | Sports

No, not me (besides, I don’t go watch the Suns now do I?). This:

How much do you want to bet the Оба́ма Режим gets involved and forces the NBA to not only take the shoe back, but make them give every NBA Player a pair to make the league competitively equal? Or, devise some sort of bulls**t Stimulus scheme to subsidize the cost for poor, disadvantaged youth?
Hey, it could happen.

Here’s the trailer for Mafia Wars: Italy. I wish they would have also included the theme played on the Las Vegas trailer, but oh well….

Sunday Night Video

I’ve discovered a new respect for a maestro famous for…spaghetti westerns! Here’s Ennio Morricone conducting an orchestral rendition of “L’estasi dell’oro” (The Ecstasy of Gold), from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly:

The Osprey got me hooked!

Robbing The Country

Filed under: | Axis of Donks | Mafia Wars

It doesn’t take a Rocket Scientist to figure this one out, much less a Mafia Wars Fan. Let’s see how long this graphic stays up on their website before the cries of “RACIST!” force them to take it down. And get this! They call Оба́ма‘s mask…Rock! For “Rockstar.” ROFMAIAO!
Hence, the preservation of it here.

Meanwhile, In an Alternate Universe

Filed under: | Battlestar Galactica | Entertainment

Now here is a revelation which I was not prepared for…Eric Stoltz (yes, that’s Daniel Graystone to the rest of us) was the original choice to play Marty McFly in “Back to The Future”. Check out this video:

After watching this, yes…Spielberg and Zemeckis made the right decision. That series was definitely made for Michael J. Fox, and “Caprica” belongs to Stoltz. Now we know who was first…in more ways than one.

Arizona Video

Filed under: | Entertainment | The 48th State

I was beginning to wonder whether someone other than Mark Lindsay was going to write another song about The 48th State. Well, guess what! Someone did…slamming Президент Оба́ма and Хиллари Клинтон in the process!

Brian Haner’s web site is here.
