It’s too bad Барни Франк won’t allow his constituents the privilege of voting his ass out of office next November, in light of all the damage he’s done to the country, by way of Додд-Франк, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for starters. This is a positive development, no matter who wins his seat in the next Election.
I can also guarantee you he WILL be featured in an upcoming Download City episode. Good Riddance to him!

Three years ago I started working with this alternative to Photoshop Elements. The current version of Pixelmator, code-named Chameleon (2.0), adds lots of new features which were lacking prior to this release. It was available for Snow Leopard, but I didn’t even want to dare to try it on the Old System, due to the sheer slowness of it.
For me, the biggest improvement from 1.6.7 to 2.0 was the refinement of the text tool, and as a result, I can now fully reproduce stuff I used to do with PSE. When the New System went live earlier this month, it informed me that the version of PSE I was running, 6.x, was no longer workable. So I said Frak It and dived right into Pixelmator 2.0, and I haven’t looked back.
That said, the only habit I have a hard time breaking is calling my works “Photoshop Parodies.” That’s a toughie.
