Well let’s see…sometime yesterday afternoon, after a walk around the apartment complex with The Mrs., I came down with what can best be described as…the crud. I’m functional, but I have a slight head & chest congestion, my legs are a little sore, and my taste buds are shot. Nevertheless, I’m going in to work today! Wish me luck.
ANYHOO...I’ve made a slight change in the banner; it’s quite obvious. That said, once I get my hands on ITC Machine Cyrillic, I’ll update it again with what it’s supposed to read. So for now, Оба́ма‘s name written in English will have to suffice.

I’m usually pretty quick about it; that said, if you send it during normal business hours, well, I have normal business hours. And you’ll want to do this, just to avoid the verification key for non-member comments.

OK, seeing as I’m getting some membership requests, I thought I’d revamp the procedure for signing up, simply because I won’t put up with bogus requests coming from Russia or some nefarious location in eastern Europe.
And it’s very simple. Really, it is. If you wish to sign up, go ahead and do so, and then send an e-mail to me within 24 hours, letting me know where you heard about my blog. If you can do that, great. If you can’t do that, well then, see ya!
This applies to the person who signed up from Search for Glory…the clock is ticking for you!

Some a**hole from Ukraine kept hitting me up with spam trackbacks in a previous post. So for the time being, I turned off the trackbacks for that particular post. In addition, it left such a blatant trail, I banned its a** and if it tries again, I’m sending it to an undisclosed location.
What was that Basil Rathbone always said in his movies…“Watson, the game’s afoot!”

Frak the Russians. Those b*st*rds keep flooding my damn e-mail box with bogus membership requests.

Thanks to my Tax Refund hitting my bank account today, I finally updated this blog to Expression Engine 1.6.2, which is the latest version. Took all of what, 20 minutes, and that was taking my time and multitasking via chat with a friend!
It’s great that free software exists out there, but I don’t mind paying for the commercial stuff. Onward!

And now, for telling the owner of this blog…twice…within the span of two minutes...how to run it, I now have the first banning victim to fall under the Zeroth Rule (see The Rules). I don’t care where the person came from. If it can’t follow MY rules, it’ll be banned!
