As slow a day as it was at work, this news certainly cheered me up, as former GOP Congressman JD Hayworth stepped down yesterday from his Drive-Time show on KFYI:

“I think we all respect John. I think his place in history is secure. But after close to a quarter-century in Washington, it’s time for him to come home.”

Indeed. JD hasn’t formally declared yet, but I daresay there will be more than a few good folks I know who will sign up to work for him!

Brown kicked Martha Coakley’s a** in this debate last night, so what does she do? Rush an attack ad to air with one…little…problem.

The senior Senator from AZ conceded as much:

“We will fight until the last vote. We owe that to our constituents, because we must do everything – we must look back and say we did everything to prevent this terrible mistake from taking place.”

But he forgot one…little…thing: the United States Constitution:

Article I Section 9 part 6:
No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another: nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

Article IV Section 2:
The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

I hope and pray the GOP or some other conservative group sues the s**t out of Конгресс and takes this case immediately to SCOTUS, as soon as Президент Оба́ма sets his vile hand to it.

Or, How To Keep The Demo☭rats Apoplectic. Or if we want to really make them rage and seethe (you know, like the Islamofascists do on a regular basis), add Sarah Palin to the mix as his running mate.
OH. MY. GOD.
My wife and I have had a couple of discussions about this issue. The above-mentioned factor would certainly be in play. Here’s a few issues which point in the other direction. For starters, he’s done his bit for God and Country; he doesn’t need to serve again.
There’s also his health issue. Were he to run, there’s no way of telling whether he’d hold up. So his choice of a running mate, whoever he or she would be, would be even more of a reason to vote for the guy than McCain’s was.
In the end, we’d like to see him run. But ONLY if he is asked to do so by the Republican Party.

Gee I wonder why the Feds have placed a Tax Lien on Governor Ah-nold’s properties. ALL of them. This, for a Tax bill the IRS says he hasn’t paid: a bit over $79,000.
I wonder if Ah-nold has access to the Kennedy Family Legal Team? You know, the same one which got Teddy off from murder, and got his nephew William Kennedy Smith off for Rape? That said, I’ll bet the IRS went back to the “Guilty until Proven Innocent” modus operandi under the Оба́ма Administration, so it’ll make for some good tabloid stuff as they go to Court. Rotsa Ruck, Ah-nold!

I was on my way back from the chiropractor when news of this development came on the radio. I sure hope JD Hayworth runs against Senator McCain, as the latter has definitely lost touch with the GOP.
I held my nose to vote for McCain last fall, as he was still a hell of a lot more qualified to be President of the United States than Бара́к Хусе́йн Оба́ма would ever be. Still, his votes for the TARP bailout, as well as his known stance on the Illegals, has really soured me on him. That said, I’d like to meet with JD before he runs.

No, he certainly isn’t:

Joe The Biden™ and Диктор Пелоси were, of course, shocked, and the looks on their faces…all three of them!...were indeed Priceless.
His name is Joe Wilson, and he represents South Carolina’s 2nd Congressional District. His website is down for maintenance (gee I wonder why). To the Good American People I ask: keep him in your prayers, for Оба́ма and his Demo☭rat Goons will now descend upon him like a pack of hyenas.
And Senator McCain! That bastard has already criticized him. Sorry, civility will no longer work with the Demo☭rats. I can’t wait till I can vote AGAINST him in the 2010 Primary.
