There’s Got To Be A Morning After…

...and there is. I’m not going to continually sulk about last night’s loss to Obama. I’m going to get up and go to work my a** off and do my part to make this country great, no matter what the other side of the aisle says.

TIME TO VOTE!

By the time you read this, the polls should be open on the East Coast and will work its way westward. I voted early. Now, it is time for the rest of the country to choose.
As long as YOU VOTE, then you have earned the right to bitch at whoever is elected. Just keep that in mind, and do your duty as an American citizen.

And now...we wait....

Newspaper Endorsements

In case you’re wondering what the breakout is regarding newspaper endorsements for the 2008 Presidential Election, let’s go to the graphic. Click on it for the full-size map:

So what if The Rag endorsed Senator McCain; I’ll bet they did it with their fingers crossed behind their backs. Just looking at the graphic shows how much the MSM is in the tank for Senator Obama.

Colin Powell Endorses Obama

Well folks, in my book it wasn’t a matter of IF former General Colin Powell was going to endorse Senator Obama for President...but WHEN. That when came this morning on Meet The Depressed.
So, Powell didn’t like the attacks of the McCain campaign, calling them “irrelevant.” Tell me, General, what’s irrelevant about pointing out Obama’s known associations with unrepentant Terrorists, a minister who wants God to Damn America, and someone who ran Fannie Mae into the ground...and as it turns out, someone you yourself have known for ten years?
Now I’ve heard that Obama has hypnotized his minions, and I guess he got to you too.

Glenn Beck Coming to Fox

For some time, Glenn Beck was CNN’s token conservative, and even now, they’re gonna lose him to Fox this coming February. He’s the guy responsible for the great Soviet parody of Obama.
This loss cements CNN’s reputation as the ommunist News Network. Most CNN viewers won’t notice the difference anyways. So why prolong the agony? CNN, go ahead and pay off Beck and let him come over to Fox NOW?

Gravity Takes Over

Today is payday. Today is also a day where my phone bill is due. It was a big OWIE. and I paid it anyway. Now, let’s see what’s on the wires:

THE TAMPA BAY RAYS? IN THE WORLD SERIES? Hey it could happen, unless the Red Sox get up off their a**es. I think they said the same thing back in 1997 about the Florida Marlins.

A LIBERAL HISTORY: At least, how Basil correctly interprets how the Demo☭rats would rewrite it. snicker....

MADONNA, RITCHIE CAN’T BEAR PRETENSE: Yeah, the pretense that even at 50, she’s still a slut!

F-P Doll Pulled from Shelves

Listen to this mp3 file and judge for yourself whether that Fisher-Price doll (sold at Wal-Mart and Target) actually is saying “Islam is the Light.”
I, for one, sure think so. It’s downright creepy. We’ll see how fast CAIR jumps on this one. Good thing it doesn’t utter something worse.

Bulls**t Bailout Bill

Here’s what really burns me about the Wall Street bailout. Not that they’re asking for $700 billion (we all knew that was coming). When this plan was originally proposed, it was three pages in length.
Now it’s 102.
One hundred two pages of more pork barrel spending, What the frak is Congress adding to this bill to expand it so dramatically? No wonder then why the American People are becoming more and more incensed at Congress’ ability to bloat a bill to death.

UPDATE (28 September 2008; 1856 MST): Here’s the bill they’re gonna vote on. Count the pages.

F.I.I.F.

For about a year now, I had been working four 10-hour shifts as an experiment. Advantage: I got one day off during the week to run errands and stuff. Disadvantage: Occasionally, I’d be dead tired even after a night’s sleep. Today is such a day and...I go back to five 8-hour shifts starting Monday.
Enough of that....

PALIN: BIDEN ‘GREAT DEBATER’: But I’ll bet she’s thinking that he’s a master debater anyway! Kick his a** Sarah!

MARINE MOM: GIVE SON CMH: She’s stomping her feet and whining and demanding this...en Español. Which leads me to think someone should check her immigration status.

COYOTE ARREST IN AZ: Well well well...the son of a Congressman! And a Demo☭rat Congressman to boot. Imagine that.

Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac Seized by Feds

I certainly hope that yesterday’s takeover provides some stability in the markets. Overseas, so far so good. Now we’re about to find out when Wall Street opens at 0930 hours ET.
This is definitely an issue which both sides of the campaign will have to discuss.

F.I.I.F.

That storm from last evening cooled it down to 80 degrees Fahrenheit. And I’m in a Fox News mood. Let’s see what’s on their wires, just to p*ss off the liberals:

WORKING FOR THE RAT: I had a friend who once worked for Disney, and she didn’t particularly care for it. Neither did these folks....

Перестаньте Пожар? NOT: Russia has the same disdain for France as we generally do (at least till Sarkozy took office). At Georgia’s continued expense of course.

STEWARDESS ONLY WANTED MONEY: And she didn’t get it. Praise The Lord!

Gravity Takes Over

So far, this week at work has been long and arduous. so here’s what I’m throwing to the Wolves today:

BUSH SAYS WALL STREET DRUNK: Those who constantly deride the President for his past drinkin’ are gonna go apes**t over this one.

HERE’S MONEY! VOTE FOR US! Meanwhile the Donks in Congress are considering another $15 billion economic stimulus package for infrastructure. Just at the right time in the election cycle. NOT.

NAVY TO BUILD ONLY 2 STEALTH DDGs: At least the Navy made this cecision and not Congress. Nor Senator Obama.

Tony Snow Dies at 53

Former Fox News anchor and White House Press Secretary Tony Snow has passed away at the age of 53; he lost a long battle with cancer. While he was at his last job, Snow irked the entire White House Press Corps (especially Helen Thomas).
It will only be a matter of time until his detractors at, say, the Kos Kidz, will unleash their fury on the guy. So far, they’re behaving, but that can change quickly.
In any case, I am praying for Tony’s Family. So Say We All.

UPDATE (0920 MST): That didn’t take long....

A Matter of Trust

A poll was recently conducted by the Christian Science Monitor on what people thought were the most trusted institutions in this country. Click on the image to the right to see the full-size graphic, and look at the results closely.
First, see where the military, small business, and the police are located at. Next, look where the President is located.
Finally, see where Congress is at. This is the Demo☭rat-controlled Congress which lauds itself on being full of change, when instead it’s been even worse than a Do-Nothing Congress; you know, the one which Harry S. Truman ran against in 1948. Now ask yourself once again who is more trusted: President Bush or Congress?
