Archbishop Opens Mouth, Burns

Does not this latest photo of the Archbishop of Canterbury make him look like he’s already in Hell for what he’s uttered this time?

To My Jewish Friends

Filed under: | History | Religion

Since sundown has pretty well taken place,  the annual eight-day Hanukkah (written in Hebrew as חנכה or חנוכה) Festival of Lights has begun. May these days be filled with hope and joy for you, your family, and your friends.
Happy Hanukkah, and I Stand With Israel!

The Caliphate of Pop?

Filed under: | Entertainment | Religion

One of the strangest self-induced mutants ever to walk the face of the Earth, Michael Jackson, is now a Muslim, confirming a report from three years ago. Supposedly, he was feeling a “bit down” while recording a new album, and a couple of his Muslim buddies helped to convert him.
Gee, I guess that means he’ll have to stop recording the album, as music is generally un-Islamic. His other sick behavior has already helped Mikaeel (his new name) fit in quite well. And he’s so weak-minded, he’ll quickly start spouting the Party Line that “Islam is a Religion of Peace™,” just like his brother Jermaine who converted in 1989.
Hud is right. They can have him.

Countdown in 5…

Filed under: | Religion | War on Terror

Well, this book hasn’t even hit the shelves yet and it’s already a hit! #1 with a bullet!
Or should that be with a scimitar or bomb?
Yes, this book will enrage and seethe Muslims once again, because it dares to print an artistic representation of Mo…and worse! It’ll show said picture torn in half! We’ll soon see how fast the Council of Angry Islamofascist Radicals tries to silence the authors. If that doesn’t work, watch for riots and burnings in Europe and Asia (and likely Africa too), for they are the easier targets.

Enraging The RoPMA™

Filed under: | Religion | War on Terror

I don’t know about you, but when I saw this video of Pope Benedict XVI being welcomed at a Jewish synagogue in New York City, it reminded me a lot of my personal experience in standing with Israel back in 2006; I feel much better hearing Jewish people pray and sing at the same time than I ever would when a Muslim imam utters its prayers…in English!
I’m still waiting for the Pope to go to Ground Zero to pray for those who perished at the former World Trade Center site on 9/11. Maybe while he’s there, he’ll pray for the conversion of any and all terrorists alive today to Christianity. That act alone would ensure the fatwas and riots in Europe and Asia we’ve come to expect from the Religion of Peace My A**.

Muslims: You’re NOT #1

One would assume (remember folks, that’s making an a** out of you and someone else) that when reading this article, the Vatican is lamenting that Islam has become the world’s largest religion. No it hasn’t…look deep into the article and you’ll find this near the bottom:

The figures on Muslims were put together by Muslim countries and then provided to the United Nations, he said, adding that the Vatican could only vouch for its own data.
When considering all Christians and not just Catholics, Christians make up 33 percent of the world population, Formenti said.

Again, sloppy writing by the Associated (With Terrorists) Press to make Muslims jump for jihad and go apes**t and riot and burn non-Muslim stuff. Besides, Roman Catholicism is one of the three main sects of Christianity, the other two being Protestantism and Eastern Orthodoxy. We still have you outnumbered. So there.

Archbishop: UK Sharia ‘Unavoidable’

Look who’s in the news again....
On the same day where a Republican Presidential candidate, who just happens to be a Mormon, steps aside for the good of the GOP and the USA, we have an even more incredulous statement uttering from the foul mouth of the Archbishop of Canterbury:

Dr Rowan Williams told Radio 4’s World at One that the UK has to “face up to the fact” that some of its citizens do not relate to the British legal system.
Dr Williams argues that adopting parts of Islamic Sharia law would help maintain social cohesion.
For example, Muslims could choose to have marital disputes or financial matters dealt with in a Sharia court.
He says Muslims should not have to choose between “the stark alternatives of cultural loyalty or state loyalty”.

That’s because Muslims in the UK refuse to submit to its sovereignty. So why the hell are they still there? It’s because they want to eventually take it over, just like the rest of Europe.
LyndonB, the guy who gets the Hat Tip, ponders:

“The man is a bloody lunatic and should be defrocked or whatever they do to Archbishops. Will no one rid us of this meddlesome priest?”

Well Lyndon, I know someone who will and I think you do too!

UPDATE (2130 MST): Well that didn’t take long…Irshid Manji reams the Archbishop!

Tolerance For Me, But Not For Thee

The Archbishop of Canterbury, the guy who calls the birth of Jesus Christ a “legend,” is reaching out yet again with this wonderful idea:

The Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, has called for new laws to protect religious sensibilities that would punish “thoughtless and cruel” styles of speaking.
Dr Williams, who has seen his own Anglican Communion riven by fierce invective over homosexuality, said the current blasphemy law was “unworkable” and he had no objection to its repeal.
But whatever replaces it should “send a signal” about what was acceptable.
This should be done by “stigmatising and punishing extreme behaviours” that have the effect of silencing argument.

I give you three guesses as to which religion this will be applied against, and the first two do not count. ‘Dr.’ Williams has dropped the soap yet again. None of us have the right to not be offended, and many European politicians insist on legislating away hate speech, as distateful as it is; that is why Europe is dying and that is not how you fight it.

Dueling Films

Filed under: | Religion | War on Terror

I don’t think it will be necessary to remind you of the controversy generated by the Mo ‘toons published a couple of years ago. The Islamofascists are about to go apes**t again once Dutch politician Geert Wilders airs his film about the Koran on Dutch television.
Now, compare this to the reaction of an Iranian film about how Muslims view Jesus Christ…far differently than Christians do. For starters, Muslims deny that He is the Son of God. Christians will feel pained at the depiction, but they will not go out and riot over it.
Without a doubt, there will be many places which will keep score between these two motion pictures.

Christmas 2007

WISE MEN FROM THE EAST
1 Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the East came to Jerusalem,
2 saying, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him.”
3 When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him.
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the people together, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
5 So they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it is written by the prophet:
6 ‘ But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
    Are not the least among the rulers of Judah;
For out of you shall come a Ruler
Who will shepherd My people Israel.’”

7 Then Herod, when he had secretly called the wise men, determined from them what time the star appeared.
8 And he sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the young Child, and when you have found Him, bring back word to me, that I may come and worship Him also.”
9 When they heard the king, they departed; and behold, the star which they had seen in the East went before them, till it came and stood over where the young Child was.
10 When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.
11 And when they had come into the house, they saw the young Child with Mary His mother, and fell down and worshiped Him. And when they had opened their treasures, they presented gifts to Him: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
12 Then, being divinely warned in a dream that they should not return to Herod, they departed for their own country another way.
- Matthew 2:10-12 (NKJV)

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Archbishop: Nativity A “Legend”

What’s worse: the Golden Compass movie which depicts an alternate-universe malevolent form of the Roman Catholic Church (most liberals would think the one we have here is malevolent anyway)...or the Archbishop of Canterbury who states that the Nativity “works quite well as legend?”
I’m glad I’m not a member of the Church of England, much less the Anglican Communion, because some of them would have every reason to be upset (and that’s putting it politely) at their leader for even suggesting this. No wonder this denomination is suffering a schism.

Playing God

Filed under: | News | Religion

While this article is indeed a geeky subject to some, it isn’t to me for a very good reason: we are starting to play God, and that is downright dangerous. Mark Bedau, chief operating officer of ProtoLife of Venice, Italy, says the following about the possibility of the artificial life getting out of hand:

“When these things are created, they’re going to be so weak, it’ll be a huge achievement if you can keep them alive for an hour in the lab. But them getting out and taking over, never in our imagination could this happen.”

I wonder if this guy has ever seen Space: Above and Beyond, much less Battlestar Galactica when the Frankenstein complex kicked in.

So Say We All

Filed under: | Religion | War on Terror

Hell Hath No Fury like a Muslim scorned....

But how can it be contrived or an aberration when so many rioted over the Danish cartoons? His answer: “Touch Mohammed and there will be riots.” He went on to stipulate that it’s fine with him if I then turn around and say that Islam is not a religion of peace, but nevertheless, touch Mohammed and riots will happen.

Gee, what will that guy do, now that Mo’s already been burned in effigy? Wait till next Friday I guess.
