Former UN Ambassador John Bolton knows full well that Iran has lied to the world time and again about its nuclear weapons program. That’s why he believes Israel (and hopefully, with the US in support) will attack Iran to rid that nation of its ”peaceful” pursuits between November 4, 2008 and January 20, 2009.
Maybe, just maybe, Mo will actually fulfill his pledge to quit when all is said and done. Then again, he’s likely to be paid under the table by the UN even after he leaves, as if he were an “ambassador emeritus” or some such bulls**t.

Now that Justice Anthony Kennedy wrote the majority decision to allow Terrorists at Guantanamo Bay the right to access US Courts for challenging their detainment (and for that, he will have some ‘splainin’ to do), the time has come for an Open Thread as to what should be done to these detainees.
As I see it, there are four options:

1) Allow the Terrorists to tie up the DC Circuit Court with their petitions.
2) Transfer all detainees from Gitmo to foreign locations (which, depending on the country, may or may not be popular).
3) Take No Prisoners; i.e. Kill ‘Em All and let GOD (and not Allah) sort ‘em out.
4) If the Terrorist Bastards are lucky enough to be captured on the battlefield, hold for 24 hours to allow them their one and only chance to remain among the living by giving up intel, then execute them anyway whether or not they drop the dime...then make sure they’re buried facing away from Mecca with lots of pork-related byproducts!

This certainly came to mind when I encountered the following yesterday evening on my day off, at, of all places, a Papa John’s right down the street from where I live:

Allow me to elaborate as to what’s wrong with this setting. Caribou Coffee’s main investor is Arcapita Bank, based in Bahrain. Once upon a time, Caribou’s web site had the following in its investor relations page, which has now disappeared down the memory hole there, but thanks to the Wayback Machine, you can read for yourself why I will NEVER go there!

Arcapita, whose investors are located primarily in the Middle East , makes its investments in a manner consistent with the body of Islamic principles known as Shari’ah. Consequently, we operate our business in a manner consistent with Shari’ah principles and will continue to do so as long as Arcapita is a significant shareholder.
In particular, we must comply with Shari’ah principles regarding money that we borrow from other parties. For example, our lease financing arrangement, under which we have obtained financing to fund our operations and expand our business, is structured in a manner that complies with Shari’ah principles. The structure of this lease financing arrangement is described in the prospectus relating to our initial public offering. Also, a Shari’ah-compliant company is prohibited from dealing in the areas of alcohol, gambling, pornography, pork and pork-related products.

Imagine that.

This wasn’t the only unique greeting the President gave...wait till you see the others. I can see John McCain do something like this the first time he goes to address the cadets at, say, Annapolis. I can only imagine the total disdain such a move would be for, say, Barack Obama, much less Hillary Clinton.

Thirteen Arab nations have dusted off plans to establish “peaceful” nuclear energy “research” stations. Who’s the cause of this? If it were Israel, the Middle East may have been a radioactive wasteland long ago; that is, if the USA and CCCP hadn’t kept them at bay.
But is isn’t. Yet.
No, the real race is because the Arabs, who are mainly Sunni, don’t want the Shia Iranians to gain the upper hand. See, it’s this mad Mahdi vision Mr. DInner Jacket and the Mullahs have which prompt them to develop nukes and destroy Israel and all other powers who deign to stop them.
Yet, it’s the Great Satan and Little Satan that are cited by the el cubos in this country as the cause of the world’s woes. Frak that, and frak them too!

Senator Obama sure has a thin skin. He can’t take people making fun of his ears, he’s too busy eating his waffle, and now he lashes out because President Bush falsely accused him of appeasement during a speech to the Israeli Knesset.
Imagine that.

“Some seem to believe that we should negotiate with the terrorists and radicals, as if some ingenious argument will persuade them they have been wrong all along.
“We have heard this foolish delusion before. And Obama’s response?

“It is sad that President Bush would use a speech to the Knesset on the 60th anniversary of Israel’s independence to launch a false political attack. George Bush knows that I have never supported engagement with terrorists, and the president’s extraordinary politicization of foreign policy and the politics of fear do nothing to secure the American people or our stalwart ally Israel.

BULL-S**T Senator Obama! You’re no friend of Israel. You’re also on record as being willing to meet with North Korea, Iran, and Cuba. On their turf! I’ll say that by the end of this campaign, you’re going to have so many new a**holes ripped (at a minimum, one for each of these skeletons in your closet) that you won’t be able to sit down for quite a long time.

Well, Saturday is as good a day as any…
The State of Israel is celebrating the Sixtieth Anniversary of its founding. That’s Diamond for those of you keeping track. Israel is a country which is unique in that it has fought for its existence from Day One (May 14,1948)..and hasn’t stopped either. And true peace-loving people from around the world see this as exactly that and support Israel and her People with all their heart. As do I.
One day I’d like to travel to Israel. I don’t know when that will be, but I have a friend there who will welcome me with open arms. So, to the Israeli People...Congratulations, Happy Birthday, and Shalom!

With The Wall nearly two-thirds complete on the West Bank, along with the IDF’s daily incursions into Paleostinian territory, it’s no wonder they are raging and seething once again. After all, their livelihood is being taken away by the Israelis, and it prevents the ‘peace process’ from going forward.
Hataf and Hamas have no intention of settling for a non-contiguous state on the West Bank and Gaza Strip, respectively. They want ALL of Israel. They chose the homicidal bombing and Katyusha rocket campaigns to nickel & dime the Israelis to death, and it’s pissing them off to no end that the IDF is thwarting them.
