No Big Loss

Filed under: | War on Terror

I’ll bet you’re wondering why I put this story under the War on Terror category. OK if you haven’t read anything else, sit down. You are? Good. My contempt for Michael Jackson has grown again by leaps and bounds. Now there is a report that he is converting to Islam!
Yep, you read right. Not the wannabees from the Nation of Islam. We’re talkin’ the Real Islam. I wonder which sect he will abide by? He will also have to learn how to make the hajj to Mecca without a traveling entourage of reporters (unless they, too, are Muslim). He’ll have to learn how to wipe his rear end with his left hand. No more pork, no more Jesus Juice. no more Thriller music, no more loans with interest.
And what will the millions of his fans around the world do...convert to Islam after him? That will surely be a fatal mistake if they do, because once a person converts to Islam, they can’t convert back...otherwise they’re targeted for DEATH!
Now, the US Government is probably keeping tabs on Jackson’s cash flow and where it’s going to. I hope the Feds find a good reason to put his name on the list to permanently bar him from entering this country ever again!

Zarqawi to King of Jordan: You’re Next

Filed under: | War on Terror

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that since we’re kicking Abu Musab al-Zarqawi’s a** Big Time in Iraq, he is now going after any and all Muslims who oppose the imposition of Sharia, as he did in Jordan on 9.11.05. When King Abdullah II called Zarqawi’s farm team “insane,” Zarqawi naturally put a fatwa on him:

“Your star is fading. You will not escape your fate, you descendant of traitors. We will be able to reach your head and chop it off.”

GOOD! I hope the King responds with a Western phrase he should be familiar with: “Bring it on!” Or, barring that, the Arabic version of ”FOAD.” In either case, he should proceed to kick al Qaeda’s a** so bad, just like his dad did to Yasser Arafat 35 years ago.

Bad-A** Weapon

Filed under: | War on Terror

No wonder the other side (and the el cubos) hate us...we’re getting better and better with blowing stuff up without causing massive levels of collateral damage! It’s probably why the other side (and the el cubos) want to develop nukes.
Here’s the USMC’s latest toy: the thermobaric SMAW-NE. While it isn’t perfected just yet, you can bet the Devil Dogs will come up with improvements to it...and perhaps they’ll even shrink it down to say, something like this.
HAT TIP AND NOTE TO JAMES: Do you think this might be something which could be used in the “Blow’d Up!” TV Series? OO-RAH!

Why So Silent?

Filed under: | War on Terror

Good question! I was beginning to wonder why we haven’t heard from Osama lately. He could be dead, buried underneath a bunch of rocks from the recent Pakistani earthquake...he could be dead due to his medical conditions...he could be alive, but unable to communicate with his jihadists. Truth is, we don’t know what Osama’s current status is. What we do know is this:

Since the 9/11 attacks, the longest bin Laden had gone without issuing a new public statement — written, audio or video — was just over nine months. He’s now let 10 months pass, and counting.
Two U.S. counterterrorism officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because of the subject’s sensitivity, say there isn’t evidence to suggest he’s dead. The working assumption is that bin Laden is alive, even if he isn’t churning out tapes

And there’s the kicker: it is always best to assume that an adversary is alive until there is irrefutable evidence to the contrary. With that in mind, what do you think? Let’s discuss.

Middle East Cartoons

Filed under: | War on Terror

I have to wonder how kids in the Middle East outside of Israel can get up in the morning, eat their sugar-filled cereal with milk, and watch this sh*t. This attitude is, of course, instilled by the parents, and will not change until they love their children more than they hate the Jews (yes, Golda Meir said that!).

Iran: Blah Blah Blah

Filed under: | War on Terror

You know the rest: yadda yadda yadda:

“There is no doubt that the new wave (of attacks) in Palestine will wipe off this stigma (Israel) from the face of the Islamic world. Anybody who recognizes Israel will burn in the fire of the Islamic nation’s fury, any (Islamic leader) who recognizes the Zionist regime means he is acknowledging the surrender and defeat of the Islamic world.”

One can only say the same stuff, time after time after time, until the point is reached where the other side (in this case, Israel) says “put up or (we’ll) shut (you) up.”
Faster, please.

Two Milestones

Filed under: | War on Terror

FIRST MILESTONE: The Iraqi Government announced the official results of the Constitutional referendum: it PASSED by nearly a 4-1 margin! Gee I guess the Sunnis had better start working with the Iraqi Government than against it.
SECOND MILESTONE: The 2,000th American killed in Iraq. For freeing a nation of 26 million people, that’s an awfully LOW price to pay. Now there are supposely going to be candlelight vigils(?) held around the country tomorrow to mark this occasion. I think I’ll take off after work and harass these bastards! Remember, with the el cubos, all the world’s problems began after the 2000 election...which to this very day they still can’t get it through their empty skulls that THEY LOST!

First Newspeak, Now Time

Filed under: | War on Terror

Seeing as how the MSM’s first attempt to flush the United States’ image in the Muslim world down Guantanamo Bay’s toilets failed (but not without a few people getting killed!), now Time wants to get in on the act to get Muslims around the world to riot!
Go over to Little Green Footballs to read the story, you’ll be as pissed as I am about this crap that’s coming from the other major weekly newsmagazine.

Kill All The Lawyers

Filed under: | War on Terror

I’m afraid someone in the Islamofascist camp has taken a page from Shakespeare and started to off the members of the defense team for one of Saddam’s co-defendants.
This is not good. Saddam still holds sway over certain elements of the Sunni community. I hope the Iraqi tribunals press on with the trials.

What a Snake

Filed under: | War on Terror

Not only does John Cox bring to life the satirical ideas of his editorial partner Allen Forkum, he also renders some excellent caricatures of people in the news.
Take, for example, this rendition of Syrian dictator Bashar Assad. See how long his neck is? I am not sure right off the bat if Assad has one in real life, but it sure reminds me of the snake that he is. And all one has to do in confronting a snake and to defeat it once and for all...is cut it off at the head! John’s certainly given us a good start hasn’t he!
You can find more caricatures of famous people at Cox and Forkum!

Funniest Anagram

This one takes the cake! From Little Green Footballs:

Palestinian anagrams to “is inept anal”.

Some people, I guess, have way too much time on their hands. But at least it’s put to good use!

Iraq Wins The Election Again!

Filed under: | War on Terror

Looks like the number being thrown around is 61% of the eligible Iraqi voters participating in this referendum. If trends hold, the Iraqi Consitution should pass and form the basis of a permanent democratic government.
There were also four Sunni-dominated provinces which were up in the air, but two of these have voted more than the 2/3 majority needed to pass the referendum. Results in the next few days.
Remember, this is for the future of Iraq.

Good News and Bad News

Filed under: | War on Terror

Not for me that is. For Iraq:
GOOD NEWS: Today begins a four-day national holiday leading up to the October 15 Constitutional referendum. Of course, Coalition forces are doing their best to calm the country by kicking ass and taking names later.
BAD NEWS: Earlier this week I thought Saddam would at least vote “No” on the Iraqi Constitution. Turns out he did not vote at all. Perhaps he did not want to undergo the humiliation of dunking his index finger into the purple ink and to be called on it by his fellow inmates later on. My bad.
But then again, maybe not such bad news after all. Your mileage may vary.

Saddam’s Grandstanding V

Filed under: | War on Terror

The latest from Baghdad:

The last time Saddam Hussein voted, he cast his vote for the man he called the Lion of Baghdad, the Great Uncle, Field Marshal, Glorious Leader and Direct Descendent of the Prophet. The only candidate on the ballot: himself.

How much do you wanna bet he’ll write himself in this time around? Actually, he’ll be able to do that in December. And he isn’t convicted...YET. Yes, Saddam Hussein will actually have to think about the upcoming Constitutional referendum. I hope he can survive that ordeal, so he can go to trial. Besides, we all know how he’s gonna vote don’t we!

Tick…Tick…Tick…

Filed under: | War on Terror

The Political Teen is not the only one surprised that CBS actually interviewed former FBI director Louis Freeh about his relationship with Bill Clinton and the agency’s sheer antiquation prior to 9/11. And on 60 Minutes, no less!
Wouldn’t you also be pissed off to know that Freeh had to go to former President George Bush to get Saudi Crown Prince (now King) Abdullah to allow the FBI access to the Khobar Towers bombing suspects, because Clinton himself wouldn’t do it?
Go ye and watch the video (Windows Media Format). The Macker Commands It!
