War on Terror
This web site has some interesting ongoing polls regarding the role of Islam in Iran, which was the birthplace of the Zoroastrian religion before Islam’s “entry.” The most interesting question deal with whether Iran should become a democracy or return to a monarchy.
Since online polls are notoriously biased, the results must be taken with a grain of salt. Nevertheless, if these results actually bear out in the general Iranian population (and it might, considering the vast majority of Iranians were born after the Islamic Revolution of 1979), then the first step in combating Islam’s negative influence there may already have been taken. That first step is, of course, acknowledging that there is a problem.

Former talk show host Phil Donahue went on The O’Reilly Factor to spew the MoveOn.org talking points on the war in Iraq, and got stomped by Bill! Video (Windows Media format) and transcript are available.
What gets me is: Donahue tells O’Reilly that his nephew’s decision to enlist is not equal to one’s son or daughter enlisting...BULLS**T! They’re old enough to make that decision themselves, they enlisted, their service is just as valid! And that’s not even mentioning his words that we should be building statues to Senators who voted against the authorization to use force against Saddam.
Finally, Donahue also taunted O’Reilly to attend this Saturday’s anti-war demonstration in DC. I wonder if they’ll have as much success as Cindy Sheehan did....

I’ve recently found a couple of links (here and here) to an interesting question: “Should September 11 be a National Day of Rage?” Here is my reply to both:
No.
Not rage.
But rather, STONE COLD RESOLVE to wipe these bastards out. Rage is for the terrorists. Rage is for the liberals. Rage is for the Arabs who continue to wage war on the Jews and Christians.
The LAST THING these motherf**kers should ever see when they depart this Earth is for them to gaze into the eyes of an American Soldier, Sailor, Airman, or Marine and see the following:
WE HAVE COME FOR YOU.

Read this document carefully, people. It tells the terrorists (and by extension, Iran and North Korea) that if they use WMD’s of ANY kind whatsoever against us or our allies, we reserve the right to respond in nuking not only the terrorist group(s) involved but also the state which supplied said WMD’s to the terrorists!
Also, note very carefully the timing of this document’s release: Iran warns of ”serious consequences” if it is taken to the UN Security Council for its continued intransigence on its nuclear weapons program.

I don’t know how true this is, but supposedly, Robin Williams told this post-9/11 joke:
In the middle of the night…
*RING*
BUSH: “Hello?”
ARAFAT: “I wanted to call and offer my condolences for the World Trade Center.”
BUSH: “What? Nothing’s happened to the World Trade Center.”
ARAFAT: “What? Wait… what time is it there?”
BUSH: “It’s one in the morning.”
ARAFAT: “F**K! I forgot about the time difference!”
OK, the morbid humor is now out of the way. But I did that to show that those who supported the Terrorist Barbarian Islamofascists who attacked us knew in advance of what they were going to do.
Cox and Forkum update their annual panel.
Since I’ve been here in Arizona, I’ve just seen only the tourist points of interest, and haven’t even begun to truly explore this 48th State or even the Southwest. Kinda hard when gas is over $3 a gallon.
Even so, I’ve seen enough to know that all this country IS worth fighting for. Even New Orleans.
For a sobering reminder...visit Exhibit 13 for a moving video. BMEWS has another.
REMEMBER. Remember who did this to us...and why they did it. Remember so that we may pass it to our children...and our children’s children...that we must always confront Evil and call it out as such to defend our freedom and our way of life here.

What a way to make a livin.’ More and more veterans, such as US Army Reservist Sgt. John Thompson, are speaking out:
“No one seems to know exactly what we are doing over there – except getting shot at and blown up. They don’t go out and talk to the people. The average Iraqi wants a nine-to-five job and for his kids to go to school. And that’s what they are not reporting on the news.”
Sixty years ago we fought a two-front war in Europe and the Pacific. We are also fighting a two-front war: overseas against the terrorists, and here at home with the liberal/MSM unholy alliance, who refuse to accept the fact that Freedom Isn’t Free. No, there’s a hefty [freakin’] fee.

Well if I had a coupla hundred bucks or so I could get on to an airplane and fly to DC and observe a quiet evening demonstration...what do you think...sounds like a good idea?
On Friday, September 9, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will host an interfaith candlelight vigil at the Capitol Reflecting Pool in Washington, D.C., to mark the fourth anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks.
On second thought, I think I’ll just stick around here and observe the 9/11 anniversary with my fellow Christians and Jews.

And people are bitching because we want to stop Iran from doing what?
Before you all get in a bind over that, wait until you read this little revelation:
Jose Luiz Santana, the former president of Brazil’s nuclear energy commission, known by its Portuguese acronym CNEN, said the military was preparing a test explosion when the program was ultimately dismantled in August 1990.
Earlier this month, former President Jose Sarney, who led Brazil’s first civilian government after a 1964-85 military dictatorship, told Globo TV that he scrapped a program to build an atomic bomb when he came to power. The ruling generals were long suspected of seeking nuclear weapons, but Sarney’s comments were the first confirmation of the secret program.
Santana, however, said the military was still working on a bomb when former President Fernando Collor succeeded Sarney in 1990 and hoped to conduct an underground test blast in September of that year at a remote base in Brazil’s eastern Amazon.
I’m guessing that back then, Brazil still had a snit going with Argentina. Probably still do. But when military generals go and sneak around on their civilian government in a country ruled by the bribe (did I get that right Vilmar?), then who knows what might have transpired in South America during the 1990s? We’d probably be talking about the ruins of Buenos Aires or something to that effect during the present.
And doesn’t Buenos Aires translate into Good Air? HA! What an irony that would have been!
Now, those of you who want to stop us from preventing Iran from getting the Bomb...STFD and STFU!

War on Terror
Michael Yon is an independent journalist who is embedded with our troops in Iraq. His most recent entry, ”Gates of Fire,” portrays the sheer heroism of our soldiers in combat against the Islamofascist Bastards. Just reading it reminded me of the words of President Bush which was the Call To Arms:
“Great harm has been done to us. We have suffered great loss. And in our grief and anger we have found our mission and our moment. Freedom and fear are at war. The advance of human freedom—the great achievement of our time, and the great hope of every time—now depends on us. Our nation—this generation—will lift a dark threat of violence from our people and our future. We will rally the world to this cause by our efforts, by our courage. We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail.”
Read it all and be thankful we have brave men and women who continue to defend our freedom and our way of life.
