Stick To Your Day Job

Filed under: | War on Terror

And to think this man should know better...he obviously doesn’t.
Salman Rushdie, he of The Satanic Verses fame, thinks what we’ve done in fighting back against the terrorists only serves to unite them (and the rest of the world) against us.

Mr. Rushdie, what do you expect us to do...bend over and grab our ankles? HELL NO! I have no respect whatsover for a religion which espouses jihad and hatred for the Infidels. We will FIGHT for our lives, and if you don’t like that, too damn bad! Remember, you still have that fatwa on your head!

Like I’m REALLY Scared…

Filed under: | War on Terror

Now we’ve got this lovely Koran scholar (I’ve STOPPED calling it the Qur’an) coming out of the woodwork, who says the USA will cease to exist in 2007, using verses from its UNHOLY PAGES. They have as much credibility as Islam’s claim to Jerusalem, which, for me, doesn’t count to a hill of beans!

Since we’re kicking the terrorists’ (as well as the Islamofascists’) asses Big Time, this was bound to happen.

U.S. Bases in Afghanistan?

Filed under: | War on Terror

Senator John McCain (R-AZ) has called for a permanent U.S. presence in the mountainous Central Asian country. Sen. McCain led a 5-member delegation to talk with Afghan President Hamid Karzai. Such a presence in the country could involve not only military operations but also regular cultural exchanges as well.

The liberals refuse to acknowledge the fact that we did not go to Afghanistan to subjugate its people...but to liberate them from the despotic Taliban and were thankful for it...unlike the British in the 19th Century and the Soviets in the 20th, both of whom attempted to conquer Afghanistan and got their asses kicked! They also refuse to recognize the status of three of Afghanistan’s neighbors:

China is a NUCLEAR POWER!
Pakistan is a NUCLEAR POWER!
Iran WANTS NUKES BAD!

That right there should tell any reasonable person that Afghanistan is between three rocks (China, Pakistan, Iran) and a hard place (the rest of the Central Asian ex-Soviet republics, not to mention al Qaeda and the deposed Taliban themselves) and has good reason to be concerned with its security for the foreseeable future. If Karzai and the Afghan people ask us to help them, by all means we should do so!

They Call Themselves Civilized

Filed under: | War on Terror

Damn it, this the 21st Century AD and Islamic councils on the other side of the planet perpetrate revenge against little kids for the sins of their relatives! In this case....

A tribal council in Pakistan has ordered the betrothal of a 2-year-old girl to a man 40 years older to punish her uncle for an alleged affair with the man’s wife, police said Monday.
The council decreed the girl must marry 42-year-old Mohammed Altaf, her uncle’s cousin, when she turns 18, police said.
Altaf, a farmer, divorced his 32-year-old wife over her alleged love affair with his 20-year-old cousin, Mohammed Akmal. Akmal, a bachelor and also a farmer, has no children.

People, there is NO SUCH THING AS FREE WILL in Islam. There is only SUBMISSION. This is what we are fighting. The Islamofascists call us barbarians? They better look at what’s in the mirror when they wake up in the morning.

That is, if they even HAVE mirrors!

Iraq STILL Wins The Election!

Filed under: | War on Terror

And now, the results are in: The Shi’ite United Iraq Alliance got 48% of the vote, which translates into 130 seats in Iraq’s 275-seat National Assembly. That is NOT ENOUGH for them to form a majority government, and that is good news because they will have to work with other parties to form a coalition. The Kurds came in second, and Prime Minister Ayad Allawi’s team got third place.
Now the fun begins...the National Assembly must draft a constitution by August 15, and submit it to a national referendum by October 15. In addition the National Assembly gets to pick the country’s next President (who selects the Prime Minister) and two Vice Presidents.

Stay tuned!

Tear it Down, Uncle Sam

Filed under: | War on Terror

One of my favorite political cartoonists, Cox and Forkum, has an ugly parody of the ”I Want YOU” poster of old. But it’s the Saudis who twist it in the worst way possible: by spreading their Wahhabist brand of hatred through its madrassas and mosques in the United States!

Go and See. One message for sure: the day is coming where Saudi Arabia shall no longer spread their hatred of Jews, Christians, Americans and Westerners. That will be because WE THE PEOPLE will not let them!

TEAR IT DOWN, UNCLE SAM! TEAR IT DOWN!

Two Sides of the Coin

Filed under: | War on Terror

Yes, there are always two sides to everything. Today’s Example: the United States Marine Corps, aka the Men whose Asses Ride In Navy Equipment Safely. Yes, I can say this, I was a Navy Brat and a former Squid:

HEADS: In Lieutenant General James Mattis, we see a Marine who enjoys kicking ass and not even bothering to take names because by the time he’s through with them they’re DEAD! Just like General Patton:

“Actually it’s quite fun to fight ‘em, you know. It’s a hell of a hoot. It’s fun to shoot some people. I’ll be right up front with you, I like brawling.
“You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn’t wear a veil. You know, guys like that ain’t got no manhood left anyway. So it’s a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them.”

If this guy hasn’t been in Iraq, he will probably see the same opportunities for this type of action in either Syria or Iran very soon! GO GET ‘EM!

TAILS: This happened last night at work. In an effort to contact a cardholder, part of my job allows me to call their neighbors and ask them to take my toll-free contact number over to the cardholder’s residence.
Turns out that one particular neighbor I call is a Marine officer and he was upset that his number I called was on a Marine Base (in Quantico, Virginia) and I had no way of knowing that, given the public database records I have access to. This Marine officer started ripping into me as if I were one of his recruits! I was calm and professional about it and I marked his telephone number as “Do Not Call.”
Long story short to this guy: You stick to your day job and I’ll stick to mine! If you need guidance and/or advice, go see Lt. Gen. Mattis!

Iraq Wins The Election!

Filed under: | War on Terror

THE PEOPLE OF IRAQ HAVE SPOKEN! All reliable accounts note that 8 million Iraqis walked to their local polling stations, cast their ballots, and got their index fingers dipped in blue ink to verify that they had voted. Cars were banned on Election Day to minimize potential terrorist attacks, and by and large they worked...although 44 people were killed.

After decades of Saddam’s rule (and that of the Ba’ath Party before him), the Iraqi People willingly put their lives on the line by going to vote and defied the terrorists who want to bring back despotism; because of that choice, ALL of the deaths suffered by the United States, the Coalition forces, and the Iraqis themselves were NOT IN VAIN. Now all we have to do is wait for the results.

I know the Iraqi People made the right decision: the decision to be FREE! Welcome to the Community of Nations, Iraq!

Sword of Damocles?

Filed under: | War on Terror

Earlier this month, WorldNetDaily offered up this article about speculations as to why there have been no major terrorist attacks on American soil since 9/11. An interesting quote at the end: “So far, Osama has decided not to see if GW is bluffing. Smart move.”

I wonder if they were referring to this....

Those who still deny that Islamofascism is the enemy need only take a look at what Jihad Watch has done with the World66 Travel Guide...they’ve applied it to countries with verified activity of jihadism.
