That’s because the Palestinians voted Hamas into power in the Gaza Strip. Carter ignores the fact that they WANT Hamas there to drive the Jews into the sea. They don’t give a damn about whether or not they get the trash hauled, the water treated, and the food store shelves stocked.

I don’t know about you, but when I saw this video of Pope Benedict XVI being welcomed at a Jewish synagogue in New York City, it reminded me a lot of my personal experience in standing with Israel back in 2006; I feel much better hearing Jewish people pray and sing at the same time than I ever would when a Muslim imam utters its prayers...in English!
I’m still waiting for the Pope to go to Ground Zero to pray for those who perished at the former World Trade Center site on 9/11. Maybe while he’s there, he’ll pray for the conversion of any and all terrorists alive today to Christianity. That act alone would ensure the fatwas and riots in Europe and Asia we’ve come to expect from the Religion of Peace My A**.

I seem to recall reading some novel way back in high school about a global caliphate after the 1973 Yom Kippur War, where the energy crisis gripped America so bad, the Arabs just came right in and took things over. I’ve tried to look for it on the net here, to no avail.
Now I saw the ad for this novel and, I was intrigued, especially it being a post-9/11 setting and then some. But will we really see this type of setting where the pieces change, but the game remains the same? Or will there still be a likelihood that the Three Conjectures will come to pass?

Why it’s none other than Prince al-Walid bin Talal, the son of a bitch who tried to bribe New York City with $10 million after 9/11 to denounce Israeli policies, and Mayor Giuliani told him to stick his $10 million where the sun doesn’t shine. He also is the guy who’s buying an Airbus A380 as his personal flying palace.
Of course, in the article, the tower’s listed height is 5,250 feet, which is 30 feet short of a mile, but it seems like the Saudi prince doesn’t care. He must really have a tiny d**k.

Here’s a very interesting article in which an Arab journalist, Mohamed Sifaoui, infiltrated an al-Qaeda cell in France and, due to his experiences, came to the following conclusion in an interview with Sophie Fernandez Debellemanière:

MEQ: Would you use the term Islamo-fascism to describe this threat?
Sifaoui: I certainly am one of the first Muslims to consider Islamism to be fascism. This is not a subjective decision but rather a serious, academic argument. Fascism and Islamism are comparable in many aspects: Fascism, without evoking all its particularities, bears similarities to trends also present in Islamism. I am, of course, making a reference to their will to exterminate the Jews. On this point, the Islamists may go even further in their doctrine than the Nazis did, considering that the end of the world could only occur when there are no Jews left on earth. In the three monotheist religions, apocalypse, end of the world, and doomsday exist and are liturgical events invested with a high degree of spirituality. Hence, the Islamists interpret the end of the world in a very special way. Whereas it is written nowhere in the Qur’an, exegetes describe the end of the world as the day when even the trees and rocks will be able to talk and tell the Muslims: “Come here, there is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him.” And this would go on, until there would not be any Jew left on earth. This ideology is pure fascism.
MEQ: Are there other similarities?
Sifaoui: The will to exterminate or do harm to homosexuals is another similarity between Nazism and Islamism. The Islamists, also, say that they are the best community in the world, a superior race thanks to their beliefs. They use political means to arrive at this erroneous exegesis. I do not fear to call it fascism. And there are many more similarities between fascism and Islamism.

When the warning comes from a person such as this, perhaps more people may sit up and take notice, or continue to ignore this warning at their peril...and the world’s. The choice is theirs.
See, I can’t use the word Islamofascist on a liberal board where I mainly post for fun. Perhaps, just perhaps, this can be discussed in a rational manner and people there will wake the hell up.

Now, how do you piss off the Iranians? By calling it the Arabian Gulf like Google did. Here’s the text of a letter from Rahmatollah Fattahi, the head of the Iranian Library and Information Science Association (ILISA) president :

On behalf of the Library and Information Science profession in Iran, I would like to express my protest against your new decision regarding the addition of “Arabian Gulf” parallel to “Persian Gulf” on the map of the Persian Gulf region.
I strongly suggest that you rethink about the case. Please refer to all historical atlases of the region as well as of the world and realize that there has not been such a phrase (i.e.,” Arabian Gulf") in any of them. In other words, there is no historical basis for the fabricated “Arabian Gulf”. This can be considered as false information to people.
I would appreciate it if you could manage omitting the “Arabian Gulf” from all your maps. Your world reputation depends on true and well-documented information.

Sometimes I wonder who’s the worse pain in the a**: Google or Microsoft, but in this case, I have to give points to both sides: Google for pissing off the Iranians, and the Iranian guy for his last sentence.
