I swear, the EU was going to bail out Greece with a $120 Billion aid package to try and wean them off their Giant Government Nipple Solution™. However, all of a sudden it ballooned to…wait for it!...$1 TRILLION!
And who convinced Chancellor Merkel to sign on to this ghastly amount? Why, none other than Президент Оба́ма! Of course, we American Taxpayers have to fork out (I’m guessing here, based on what we put in to the IMF) $170 Billion of that. Wonderful. Nothing like throwing money at a problem, hoping to solve it.
