Now the Donks have taken control of the Senate with Jim Webb’s victory over George Allen in Virginia. It’s also cost Rummy his job, as he steps down to avoid a constant interrogation by Congress. And there was much rejoicing in Gaza, Teheran, Pyongyang, and the hills of Afghanistan.
So why did the GOP lose? I’d say it was because first, they did not govern as they should; they attempted to reach out to the Democrats, who bit the Republicans’ hands in sheer hatred and anger over the 2000 election. Second, Congress spent Taxpayer Dollars like a drunken Sailor, and that is an insult to Sailors (remember, I was one too). Of course, the MSM had a role in highlighting the peccadilloes of certain Republican members of Congress and blithely ignoring those of the Democrats...and it paid off.
Now, the American People have spoken. The GOP must become the party of Ronald Reagan again in this short period in the wilderness, so we can get through this the same way we got through four years of Jimmy Carter.

Seriously. With the Donks taking control of the House for the first time in twelve years, expect to see investigation after investigation, and quite possibly impeachment proceedings against President Bush. Also expect to see an attempt to defund the US Armed Forces fighting the War on Terror...and quite possibly another attack as great as, if not worse than, 9/11 on at least one American city. The Donks even sent the first Muslim to Congress from Minnesota, in the guise of 43-year-old convert Keith Ellison.
The President had better get his Veto Pen ready as well as a few extra ink cartridges for same, because the Senate will be in no position to conference anything which comes out of the House. And in the meantime, we get ready for 2008.

Here’s what one military unit thinks of Senator Kerry’s remarks, for which he’s now issued a half-a**ed apology:
Of course, said apology doesn’t change my opinion of these latest remarks. F**K YOU SENATOR KERRY!
HAT TIP: Little Green Footballs
When I was growing up and learning from my beloved history teacher (who loved the word “irregardless"), I learned from him that in the years after World War I and prior to World War II, the United States was isolationist in its foreign policy. Afterwards, we got involved and engaged other nations, and that was termed as “internationalist.”
Now our favorite shrill b*tch, Shrillary, takes the word “internationalism” and uses it for her ends:
“We must value diplomacy as well as a strong military, We should not hesitate to engage in the world’s most difficult conflicts on a diplomatic front. Direct negotiations are not a sign of weakness; they’re a sign of leadership,”
She must have forgotten to ask Neville Chamberlain how well diplomacy works. She goes on:
“In an increasingly interdependent world, it is in our interest to stand for human rights, to promote religious freedom, democracy, women’s rights, social justice and economic empowerment.”
Just like Jimmy Carter did. Look what it got us. All her spewings are rehashes of John Kerry’s ”Global Test.”

No, they’re not flashing their t*tt**s, but they may as well be.
First we have Senator John Kerry (s**t, we all know he’s a Donk and we all know what state he represents so why state the obvious?) insulting each and every one who has enlisted in the military since the draft ended in 1973 by attempting to joke about not etting a good education and ending up in Iraq. Including ME. I joined when it was looked down upon, no thanks to a**holes like Senator Kerry. Well I just have two words to say to you, Senator Kerry. F**K YOU!
And then some agent provocateur attempts to rush Sen. George Allen (R-VA) and demand an answer about his ex-wife, only to be slammed to the fllor by the staffers. GOOD! Teach this damn little punk a lesson.
I tell ya, I so want to see the Donks getting their a**es handed to them, not even on a platter. More like a frakkin’ paper plate!

And here I thought this was going to be a slow news day.
Claire McCaskill, the Democratic opponent of Senator Jim Talent (R-MO), brought in Michael J. Fox (who suffers from Parkinson’s Disease and is a prominent member of the Film Actors’ Guild) to star in an ad which ran during Game 1 of the World Series in the St. Louis metropolitan area, thereby ruining the Cardinals’ victory over the Detroit Tigers. And of course, she tailors the ad to make it so Senator Talent opposes ALL stem cell research, a claim which, of course, is bulls**t:
“Senator Talent supports medical research including stem cell research that doesn’t involve cloning or destroying a human embryo,” said Talent spokesman Rich Chrismer.
The McCaskill/Fox ad does not delineate between embryonic and adult stem cell research. It just says “stem cell cell research.” Twice. I have no problem at all with adult stem cell research. It’s the embryonic variety where I draw the line, becasue to me, any messing around at all with an embryo messes with its life.
So Michael, I feel bad for ya, but don’t quit your day job.

Saturday I cringed when I my mom told me that she thought Senator Barack Obama (D-IL) was a “nice man.” He may be a nice man, Mom, but even with his status in the Democratic Party notwithstanding, he’s already got two strikes against him:
1) He is from the Народная Республика Ильиной*, and
2) His own biography tells us he got an early education in Indonesia. A Muslim country last time I checked.
Now Osama Obama has admitted that he may bolt from his Senate term two years early to run for President in ‘08. He’s doing this because he may eventually end up as Shrillary’s running mate. No, I do not trust any politician from the (*) People’s Republic of Illinois.

And BIG TIME!
Linda over at Something...and Half of Something posts a video entry from “Uncle Jimbo” who takes the DemocRATS to task over their stances vis-a-vis the war in Iraq in particular. It is sharp, succinct, and to the point. Remember these points when you go to the polls on November 7
Go Ye and watch this video. The Macker Commands It!

When the DemocRATS:
1) regret not having filibustered the terrorist interrogation legislation, calling it a ”major blow to who they are”,
2) refer to the Islamofascists themselves as ”so-called terrorists,” and
3) have to take out a $10 million loan to save their seat in New Jersey,
one must conclude that there really IS something seriously wrong with their party. Why can’t they see it? Remember this when you go to the polls on November 7.

Got an urge to make your own predictions for the upcoming Congressional Elections? Go to Predict ‘06 and take your best shot! And in case you’re wondering, here are my predictions.
Answer me this: how can Shrillary expect us to believe that she was named after a famous mountain climber, when she was born six yeare before that mountain climber became famous? Well, she finally admitted stretching that particular “truth.”
So if she can stretch the truth like that, how can we trust her with running the country? That doesn’t even mention the fact that she’s now wearing crosses during public appearances (Gee, is said crucifix leaving burn mark where she wears it?), nor does it mention the prospect of a “First Gentleman.”
Think about that when you go to the polls on November 7.

Drudge got ahold of this hilarious David Zucker ad slamming Madeline Albright, Big Time! Here it is!
It was so to the point, it even got the GOP (the group which benefits from the ad) running scared. Let’s see how long this lasts before GoogleYouTube (who’s already marked it as inappropriate content) pulls it....

And now, the truth comes out in the Mark Foley scandal: Matt Drudge is reporting that the man in question who received the IMs from former Congressman Foley WAS NOT A PAGE during the critical IMs from February 2003. Wild Bill at Passionate America provides the details about Jordan Edmund, who turned 18 before the IM’s in question, and was NOT 16 as the Donks claimed.
After reading this, I must conclude that this is no longer a scandal, but two consenting adults engaging in cybersex. The Donks have been called on their bulls**t, and I hope they pay dearly for it on November 7.

I have just finished watching the complete, 53:40 video of the FBI sting operation against Congressman John Murtha (D-PA) from January 7, 1980, as part of the Abscam scandal. Murtha ended up escaping prosecution. He did not take money from the Feds, but he DID offer his influence to the agents and encouraged them to invest in his district, leaving himself open to engaging in “transactions” in the future.
He got away with this for 26 years, but not anymore. He can’t be prosecuted in a court of law due to the statute of limitations, but he can certainly be prosecuted at the polls. His despicable stances against our forces in Iraq and Afghanistan are bad enough, and he no longer is deserving of the name “US Marine.” This video blows the lid off his secrets, and is available at the Murtha Must Go blog.

With guys like this ganjaweed mon advocating the Democrats…
...I don’t think there’s all that much we have to do to defeat them at the polls in Novermber. Except, of course, go to the polls!
