A week and a half ago, I went to Barnes & Noble to pick up the latest book on the sheer hypocrisy and duplicity by the Congressional Democrats. “Caucus of Corruption” by bloggers Matt Margolis and Mark Noonan, details how the Democrats won control of Congress by employing willing partners in the MSM to paint the entire GOP with a wide brush of corruption, due to the actions of a few.
The book is a reinforcement of what needs to be done by both sides of the aisle to repair the bipartisanship which is so necessary to Get Things Done in Washington, DC. Margolis and Noonan state right off the bat that the GOP is not sinless in any regard…and then they go right to work on the Democrats:
Nancy Pelosi: The Queen of Quid Pro Quo!
Harry Reid: The King of Family Cronyism!
Chuck Schumer: The Master of Sleaze and Privacy Violation!
Being the historical buff I am, I got a kick out of their further depiction of the following Democrats as how the Soviets would have categorized them…“Socially Friendly Elements”...or if you’re keeping track in Russian, Социально Содружественные Элементы: Bob Torricelli, Baghdad Jim McDermott, William Jefferson, Patrick Kennedy, and Cynthia McKinney. They also detail the various manifestations of the Democrats’ abuses of power: nepotism, botched jokes (y’all know who I’m referring to there!), election law violations, bribes, etc.
Oh, we can’t forget the sex scandals either. It’s OK for a Democrat to have a roll in the hay outside of the nominal marital relationship, but not for the Republicans.
Not so strangely, Matt and Mark do not cover Senator Hillary Clinton in their book in any excruciating detail. Gee I wonder why…perhaps they’re working on a blockbuster just for her? Or would it be because they would uncover on the woman a mountain of material which would far exceed the 209 soft-cover pages of this great effort! Inquiring MInds Want To Know!
The Macker definitely recommends “Caucus of Corruption” to add to your library, it has great ammo for fighting the el cubos you encounter on other boards.
