A Snowball’s Chance In Hell

Filed under: War on Terror |

If you were thinking along the lines of the Detroit Lions’ next opportunity to win the Super Bowl, you’d be wrong. The parents of the American Taliban, John Walker Lindh, asked President Bush to commute their son’s sentence and set him free. And it’s the fourth time they’ve asked for commutation since he was sentenced.
You. Have. Got. To. Be. Kidding. Me. Right? Now, why would you want to do that…so that your son can come home and be loved, no matter what, so he can live a full life once again? Or is it more likely he’d just skip the country and rejoin the Taliban, who are likely planning some type of hijinks in Afghanistan and Pakistan?
I’d say it’s the latter. The little son of a bitch is going to stay right where he is and serve his full sentence.
