Always In Threes

It is said celebrity obituaries always occur in threes and last week was no exception. First was Janet Leigh, mother of Jamie Lee Curtis, best known for her screaming role in Psycho. My mom actually got a picture of her and Tony Curtis on the San Diego set of ”Some Like It Hot.” Yeah, it’s tiny I know, but hey, considering in 1958 all a regular person had to work with was a little Brownie camera that was big news!
The second celebrity to go was Gordon Cooper, one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts. Faith 7 was the last Mercury mission and Gordo got to take a snooze on board during the flight!
The last was Rodney Dangerfield, he who got no respect...and it seems, a Mac User! When he started his own web site back in the 1990s, in his own words:

“I bought an Apple Computer; it had a worm in it!”

Rest in Peace.
