I “woke” to the sound of thunder & lightning at 2-ish. Sure enough, it was a monsoon storm! So I turned around and went back to sleep and woke up at 0400. After the crappy day I had yesterday, I figure I deserved the extra hour of sleep; besides, hearing rain during the night helps me sleep better.

Not only that, but the storm cooled temperatures down to a mild (for monsoon, that is!) 79 degrees! High of 113 today.
