After seeing this list of Wiki entries which are altered, defaced, changed, rendered unrecognizable, etc., by members from both sides of the aisle (and yes, more of it comes from the left than from the right), I caution anyone who uses Wikis as a knowledge base to read carefully before posting there.
It’s best to remember the following maxim from none other than George Orwell:

Who controls the past controls the future: who controls the present controls the past.
