No, not President Bush. Former President Jimmy Carter.
Not only has his deals with the various devils around the world (North Korea and the Paleostinians for starters) and his constant slamming of President Bush and the War on Terror eventually earning him a coveted Nobel Peace Prize, he now joins the Daily Kos (a noted left-wing blog) in answering questions from readers.
We are having to clean up the whole damn mess which started under the Peanut Farmer’s watch in 1979! And as it turns out, there is a movement afoot to advocate censure of this man. Yes, if there’s anyone who deserves to be censured, it’s Jimmy Carter. Why couldn’t he have just stuck to building houses for poor people?

How do you censure freedom of speech?

Carter, as well as Bill Clinton, broke the long-standing taboo of former Presidents not publicly criticizing the current President (whoever that is). For that, they are wrong!
I have nothing against them saying something in private to the President. I think Carter has never forgiven the American people for kicking him out of office in 1980. He thinks we, as a nation, are no better than the rest of the world.
Search your heart, Cat, you know that for all our faults, we ARE better!

Another perspective: Clinton & Carter are continuing to serve their country, good bad or indifferent.
Other former presidents (Bush Sr. did do some tsunami and Katrina
aid work) just seem to sit on their powerful asses and do nothing after their terms.
Good, bad or indifferent, Clinton has higher regard world wide than Junior
has.
Congresscritters criticize the PRES daily---I could and do too.......so do millions of people.........but not former presidents? Seems strange, as they are perhaps the BEST to critcize the office, having been there.
