China: Let’s Set Up Hotline

Filed under: DFCs | International |

After the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962, one major development which came forth was the establishment of a hotline between Washington and Moscow to ease concerns when one side or the other did something related to the military. Now the Chinese want to do the same thing.
Imagine that.
This really is a good thing. After all, the Chinese leaders realize that they really don’t want to lose their biggest market segment. They, like the Soviets, are thinking rationally.
And you know who won’t.
