Since both of Arizona’s US Senators (John McCain and Jon Kyl) have been in the news recently, I took it upon myself to compare the two of them.
First, McCain never wrote me back late last year on the Alito hearings...while Senator Kyl did. That personal touch always helps.
Second, both Senators have pending legislation regarding immigration reform. While Senator McCain’s bill (co-authored with Senator Ted Kennedy of Taxachussetts) is not as serious in fixing the problems, Senator Kyl’s (co-authored with Senator John Cornyn of Texas) still has flaws, but has better provisions. The overall career difference between the two is like night (McCain) and day (Kyl). I didn’t realize there was such a grade as “F-” until I saw McCain’s report card!
Third, both Senators wholeheartedly support the military. It’s the only thing which I trust Senator McCain on.
Finally, it seems as though McCain is on TV a lot, thanks to the MSM, you don’t hear or see Senator Kyl as often. Either Senator McCain is all “Look at me! Look at me!” or he’s running interference for the President, while Senator Kyl is more concerned with getting the People’s Work done.
All in all, an interesting comparison between the two.

In Michigan here it’s a little different with Levin and Stabenow:

Unfortunately, Levin will be in there until he dies. Stabenow is the one you gotta go after, with a vengeance. Go to those grade sites and look them up, you won’t be disappointed!

You know I like Stabenow...she’s a “safe bet”.  Levin is a total idiot!  He’s been around way to long and just has no clue what is going on in this state at the moment!  Levin = Useless.

BTW Mackster, did you see Bush’s approval rating slipped to 29%!  29%!  Has me thinking of that movie Seven Days in May.

I’m not worried about the polls. Funny that you mentioned Seven Days in May: it came out the same year as Fail-Safe.
