Here is a short video released by the Colombian Government, three days after a successful Hostage Rescue operation which duped the FARC terrorists, freeing three American defense contract workers, Colombian politician Ingrid Betancourt, and 11 Colombian soldiers. I’ll bet that guy who was “interviewed” in the tape and didn’t say much in any case…is now dead. If he isn’t he’d better be thanking whatever deity he believes in.
Colombia says no foreigners were involved in the operation. So what if they were? Fact of the matter is, these people are no longer Hostages. And there’s also another side benefit. Remember when a FARC laptop was seized a few months back with info on Comrade Chavez and Barack Obama? I’ll bet there was also info on where the Hostages were being held, and the Colombians had to have factored that into the operation, leaving Chavez thoroughly red-faced (imagine that).
While I’m at it, if you’re reading this Fausta, I’m guessing that you speak Spanish, so if you could provide some type of translation of what’s being said, that would be great!
GOOD JOB COLOMBIA! Or should I say COLOMBIA…F**K YEAH!
UPDATE (1203 MST): Fausta has a translation of the video!
