This year I will not be alone, thanks to the generosity of a coworker who invited me to join her family at 1400 hours today on the other side of the valley. I spoke with her last evening and offered to bring something to the table, but she insisted that I just bring myself. Never look a gift horse in the mouth. God does send people into our lives for a reason, and that is only one reason why I am thankful to Him.
