Minnesota Democratic Senate candidate Al Franken had to cough up $70,000 in back taxes since 2003 to 17 different states, and then he had this to say:

“What happened is our accountant made a mistake, and all of these are repercussions of that same mistake. His mistake was not understanding the law, the obligation to pay these state taxes.”

No Al, your mistake was hiring the guy in the first place. Smug idiot. Like all “proper” Democrats, you blame someone else for your comedy of errors.
