Introducing the MacBook Air

It sounds like some sort of startup transit venture by Steve Jobs, but it most assuredly is not!

What makes me drool is not just the sheer thinness of it, but the option of a 64GB solid state drive! It’ll only be a matter of time till this, too, is available in larger sizes (so I can pimp out the Official System), and Apple is leading the way.
All kinds of other goodies available now, thanks to Steve.

Steve Job’s politics suck, but he sure puts out excellent products…

(so says Chris as he types this on his 20” flatscreen, dual Intel processor, 2 Gigs ram, 250 Gig hard drive iMac. All for only $1299.00. Bonus: I had a 24-month same-as-cash offer from CompUSA. My Christmas present to me. cheese )

Waiting for the iPod Touch to have at least a 30 gig solid-state drive. Then I’ll upgrade. 30 gigs holds all my favorite music, podcasts, the occasional movie, and the 7 or 8 audiobooks I need. The current models are just too small.

If only Steve would accept that there are conservatives (such as ourselves) who like Macs too.

Rush Limbaugh turned me onto Macs. My first computer was a Commodore 64 (circa 1982). Proud to have never owned a Windows machine.

Do you play chess? My Commodore played a mean game of chess.
