The debate now rages as to whether this scene from the final moments of “Revelations” is, in fact, what is left of NYC after a cataclysmic nuclear war. Most of the BSG-related boards agree that the series is set in the far future, which is what I’ve suspected for a long time. They may not find Apes, but I have a feeling that as the last ten episodes of the series are aired (starting seven months from now), they may find mutants which represent the last vestiges of Humanity.
One thing is for sure. This won’t make my Fraternity Brothers too happy, since it figures so significantly in our history.
