I love the look on Bashar Assad’s face: “WTF have I gotten myself into?” Funny he should ask that; according to Ynetnews, Israel has given Syria 72 hours to cease and desist all Hezbollah activity and to return the two kidnapped IDF soldiers, or else Syria will get the same treatment Lebanon is currently receiving.
It may be also significant that, except for Syria and Lebanon, the Arab League either can’t or won’t say s**t about the current Israeli offensive. Besides, Egypt is getting dumped upon by their Palestinian “brothers” who chose to reopen (with a BOOM! of course) a Gazan border checkpoint.
So it looks like the Arabs have their hands full for a while. We’d better keep an eye on what Ahmadinnerjacket is up to during all this….
