Guess who’s buying a flying palace, otherwise known as an Airbus A380?
Why, none other than Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal...the guy who tried to give New York City $10 million in “relief” after 9/11, only to have Mayor Giuliani return the check! There aren’t going to be many airports around the world which will accept this plane because it’s so big. The price tag...including the nominal cost of the plane itself...could top $400 million.
And here’s the money quote from David Bain from wealth-bulletin.com:
“It seems the Saudis really like these huge planes, and they have the money to do it. Very few people buy commercial planes. It’s a bit over the top.”
As in “look how big my [plane] is,” right?
