See this fence? It separates the towns of Douglas, Arizona, and Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. According to the new provision passed by the Senate to add to S. 2611, Arizona will get the vast majority of the triple-layered border fencing (totaling 370 miles), and will also place an additional 500 miles of vehicle barriers along the border. The amendment states that construction is to be completed within two years of the enactment of this act. Fences already exist near San Diego, CA, and El Paso, TX, which were former focal points, and as a result, Arizona became the hotspot for Illegals crossing into the United States.
Yes, there are 12 million Illegals here (the vast Majority coming from Mexico); yes, a good number of them have been here for quite awhile; yes, many have brought their entire families along with them. Given all that, does it not make sense for us to secure our southern border, and hence, our sovereignty, before we consider what to do with the Illegals that are already here? I say it does, and no amount of whining from the liberals will change that opinion.

Somehow I do not think you’d be too keen to do that so for the same reason you do not allow people into your home to ransack it, neither should we allow illegals into OUR home, the USA!  Unless, of course, we’re allowed to shoot them on sight.  Then let as many as want to come across.  I have the guns and ammo to take care of that small inconvenience!

The fence on our border is designed to keep Illegals OUT. The Berlin Wall was designed to keep people IN.

The fence is the only thing that makes sense to keep the illegals out, unless you have a better idea tgs333 to keep illegals out then I suggest you STFU. When 30 to 45% of the prison population in Western states is Mexican nationals, it is a security problem. You may noty worry about getting mugged. But try living in an area high in illegals and you’ll find the crime rate is higher.

There’s also the issue of drugs an potential terrorists coming across. There seems to more interest in coming across the southern border than the northern one. Though that should be checked also.

Mexico never owned the US other than to seize land, the same way apologists for La Raza groups like to accuse the “Anglos” of doing. The fact is Mexico was created by Europeans. Before the Spanish, the Mexicas lived in southern Mexico near modern Guatamala.

There is no Mexican race, BTW. Mexicans are a mixed group of people like North Americans. The majority of their population is indian, but the ethnic groups are many and varied. None of those groups were present in the modern US when Mexico was formed, so their claim that it’s their homeland is bogus.

And more importantly, the USA is legally recognized as a soverign nation. And it needs to controll the flow of people across its borders as any nation does. We have the most generous immigration quotas on Earth, so the racist argument is a smoke screen for ignorant hacks with a subversive agenda.
