Now that Senator McCain has more or less secured the GOP nomination (even though Mike Huckabee continues to campaign, he’s flailing at windmills), it’s time for the New York Saddam Times to find eight-year-old allegations from his previous Presidential campaign, involving lobbyist Vicki Iseman.
Bob Bennett, a DEMOCRAT mind you, showed up on H&C tonight. He stated that he told the Senate twenty years ago there wasn’t enough evidence to warrant censuring McCain for the Keating Scandal. The Donks in the Senate ignored his recommendation and put McCain through additional hearings anyway, without formal charges. So that alone tells you that McCain was the sacrificial lamb which the Donks put forth to make that scandal “bipartisan.”
And of course, the MSM will jump onto this. But they will fail, just like Dan Ra^ther and SeeBS did wi^th President Bush four years ago.
