Президент Оба́ма is scheduled to visit Russia next week, and for a while now, the Russians have not been pleased with his rhetoric. Gee I wonder why…after all, he’s a DFC just like the Russian Prime Minister…although Pooty doesn’t come right out and say it either.
Pooty’s spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, plans to straighten him out:

“I see that he does not possess full information. After visiting Moscow, Президент Оба́ма will know the realities better.
“Judging by these statements it is very good that the meeting with Prime Minister Putin is on Президент Оба́ма‘s agenda. I am sure that after the meeting with Putin, Президент Оба́ма will change his point of view.”

Perhaps Президент Оба́ма should respond thusly:

“You see, Влади́мир Влади́мирович, I too am a follower of Marxist-Leninist dogma. Look at how I’m spending my government into oblivion; that way, the people will have to be dependent on us. So you see, we’re working from the same playbook.”
