Оба́ма Silent on Honduran Rule of Law

Let’s see…what’s wrong with this scenario?
The left-wing President of Honduras, Jose Manuel Zelaya Rosales, schedules a referendum for TODAY which changes his country’s Constitution to allow him to run for another term. Their Supreme Court rules it Unconstitutional; the President’s own party is against it, and so are the Honduran People, not to mention the legislature, who ultimately ousts him with assistance from the military. Zelaya is taken to Costa Rica, where he has set up his shadow government.
And what statement does Президент Оба́ма issue about this situation?

“I call on all political and social actors in Honduras to respect democratic norms, the rule of law and the tenets of the Inter-American Democratic Charter. Any existing tensions and disputes must be resolved peacefully through dialogue free from any outside interference.”

Um…‘scuse me, Господин Президент, the Honduran People have already respected their democratic norms; it’s Zelaya who was thwarting it.
And look who else is about to spring into action: why it’s the President of the UN General Assembly,  Miguel d’Escoto Brockmann, who’s also a DFC Sandinista. He calls the military action “criminal”; why is it that the el cubos of the world, not to mention the Islamofascists, insist that everything done by the book is “criminal”? Yes yes, I know I’m being rhetorical here.
In any case…BULLY for Honduras!
