I couldn’t even go any further than then the very first paragraph of this story of Nancy Pelosi trying to “do her part”:
“I have always loved longitude. I love latitude; it’s in the stars. But longitude, it’s about time....Time and clocks and all the rest of that have always been a fascination for me.”
Here you have a Speaker of The House sound like a flower child from the 60s, even though she’s speaking about a painting in her office. I can’t wait till the catfight occurs between Madame Speaker and Cindy Sheehan. They’ll still be debating George W. Bush’s “failed policy” and he isn’t even running for re-election. (For the record, the only “failed policy” of Bush is not wielding his Veto Pen during eh first six years of his Administration.)
And last time I checked, they still haven’t done squat in terms of major legislation ever since her party took control of Congress. Which of course gets the country nowhere.
