Pooty to Kasparov: Check

Not checkmate. Just check. Pooty is turning the screws on Garry Kasparov by detaining him during a demonstration in Moscow yesterday, where participants refused to Dance The Poot. As a result, he paid a whopping $38 in fines for shouting anti-government slogans. Whopping for Russians, that is.
I gotta give Gospodin Kasparov credit for standing up to Pooty. He isn’t going to go quietly into the night. Now who’s that lady standing next to him? Looks like she’s trying out for Footy Umpire…or she’s teaching him how.

Kf3.

Is that a chess move?

Yeah…. My favorite opening, acutally goes like this:

1.  White:  e4   Black e5
2.  White:  kf3   Black d6
3.  White   bg2

Kasparov was very fond of this opening.

Then perhaps Kasparov may be a couple of steps ahead of Pooty.

Pooty tried a Gambit and found himself 3 pawns down.
