Saddam Gets More Company in Hell

Filed under: War on Terror |

Taha Yassin Ramadan, one of Saddam’s vice presidents, joined his former leader today when he was hanged at 0305 hours local time, as punishment for his guilt in the murders of 148 Iraqi Shiites in the city of Dujail…and by extension, for the murders of over 5,000 Kurds in Halabja (even though he wasn’t tried for this). There was no report of who his welcoming committee was.
Justice which comes 25 years later is still Justice. As time progresses, more of Saddam’s henchmen will join him in Hell, whether it be by old age (which, sadly, is how most tyrants go these days) or by the gallows. It will still be Justice for the Iraqi People.

COMMENTS

I hope he’s having a good ole time with his 72 West Virginians.

Somehow Ned Beatty comes to mind… *wink* *wink* *wink*

I would say the 72 Virginians are reserved solely for Osama. As for Ned Beatty’s character, perhaps Ramadan is indeed squealing like a PIG...but not from pigs.
