Once again, the Associated (with Terrorists) Press reveals its propensity to protect Democrats from the scandalous stories which affect them. How, you ask?
By not revealing their party label. Here’s the latest scoop on Detroit Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick...who is a Democrat:

DETROIT (AP) — The Detroit City Council has spent weeks debating what to do with scandal-plagued Mayor Kwame Kilpatrick: force his ouster or slap him on the wrist.
That talk could lead to action Tuesday when the nine-member group votes on three resolutions that may ultimately remove a defiant Kilpatrick from the office he’s held for six years.
Council members are to consider three possibilities: Remove Kilpatrick from office themselves, ask Gov. Jennifer Granholm to do it, or publicly censure the mayor.

There are actually TWO prominent politicians being protected here: Governor Granholm is also a Democrat. In this entire article, there is only one person who’s actually labeled correctly: Congressman John Conyers, and that’s because he’s a powerful Michigan Democratic Congressman. Guess that means all the other Donks don’t have s**t for power, much less s**t for brains, as long as they keep Kilpatrick in office.

Now you’re not painting all of us Dems with that same brush, are ya?

This guy really p***es me off to no end. It’s just another example of the corruption in that particular system.

And don’t talk to me about Conyers. Last time I heard, he’s writing another sternly worded letter to the Shrub.

If I were a betting hedgehog, I’d be slapping down the Race Card right now.
