Gee, I wonder who is responsible for this debacle, eh:
Indigo and Chapters are recalling about 10,000 tote bags because they may cause skin irritation.
The bags, which were part of a Mother’s Day gift-with-purchase promotion, were distributed across the country.
“A few skin irritations have been reported in relation to the handling of this blue floral printed tote bag with a green lining that customers received as a gift with purchase,” the company said.
The company said it pulled the bags from stores on May 2. Preliminary composition tests showed the presence of a potential skin irritant, the company said.
The recall affects blue tote bags with green linings sold from April 30 through May 2. Consumers should return the bags in exchange for a gift card.
Doesn’t take a Rocket Scientist to figure this one out. Happy Mother’s Day, eh.
