I absolutely abhor this idea and so should you: imagine if you will Shrillary winning the 2008 Election. If this happens (which I pray to God will not), then some Donks want New York Governor Eliot Spitzer (a Democrat) to appoint her husband to fill her seat until 2010, when there would be a special election to fill the remainder of her term. Nothing like a political dynasty cementing themselves.
Need I say more?
