Looks like Fred Thompson is about to land a critical endorsement for his candidacy: that of the National Right to Life Committee, a major Pro-Life organization. If he does get this, and the NRLC will announce tomorrow, then it will be a major shot in the arm for his campaign.
I absolutely agree with Senator Thompson on this issue: as much as I loathe the idea of abortion, the issue has to be left up to the States to decide which way to go. After all, it only makes NARAL’s work fifty times harder.
