USA Today has deliberately declassified sensitive NSA data. They felt the public needed to know in the wake of President Bush’s nomination of Air Force General Michael Hayden to lead the CIA. In other words, it’s the same damn bulls**t story from the left: “OH MY GOD! THE USA IS SNOOPING IN ON ALL ITS CITIZENS’ PHONE CALLS!” What a bunch of frakkin’ idiots they are.
If I’m calling my girlfriend and we’re discussing getting together again, that’s not important to them. On the other hand, if a person here receives a call or makes a call to a terrorist located here in this country or overseas, that is what the NSA is looking for...and if certain key words and/or phrases show up, then they start the recording ASAP, and under the law there is a 72-hour window of opportunity to obtain the warrant.
And of the Baby Bells, only Qwest is not cooperating with the Feds. Now the terrorists will make sure to sign up for their services, especially in the cell phone arena. Thanks a hell of a lot, Qwest!
HAT TIP: Stop The ACLU
