Yesterday, I read a most entertaining proposal from Basil: help him get a Fan Night with his beloved Columbus Catfish (the Class A affiliate of the LA Dodgers). So I jumped on the opportunity to e-mail the Catfish, letting them know why they should honor Basil with a Fan Night.
Apparently the Catfish, for one reason or another, failed to appreciate the blogosphere’s support of Basil, and they asked him to back down. However, his Cousin (is that right?) Red had a little talk with someone higher up at the Catfish and persuaded him otherwise. Now it’s our turn to support Basil once again, and bring more free publicity to the Catfish.
