So why did it take me three years to go through this jar?
There are a few reasons for this. I actually purchased this jar (click on the thumbnail) at an A&P store in Windsor, Ontario, just before I was laid off from my job in southeast Michigan, and the use-by date was September 15, 2003. Next, the jar was 1 kilogram! For me, that’s HUGE. This jar was stored away when I was living with my mom while looking for another job, so I had another source.
Then when I moved to Arizona, I decided to keep the jar in the fridge, so it kept for a very long time. Today, I made my final breakfast sandwich (with toast and ham) with this peanut butter jar...I finally emptied the thing.
Well done, good and faithful servant!
