OMG! Universal is finally going ahead with the holiday release of the entire 10-episode nightmare series for Battlestar Galactica Fans, also known as Galactica 1980. Yes, that’s the one with Adama (Lorne Greene) and his nasty beard, Boxey grows up and becomes Captain Troy (Kent McCord), his sidekick Lieutenant Dillon (Barry Van Dyke), and the ever-nosey-for-news Jamie Hamilton (Robyn Douglass), who finally learns how to keep her mouth shut.
Oh, and did I mention the smarmy super genius Doctor Zee (Robbie Rist and Patrick Stuart; no Zed there, sorry Canadians and Brits!)? Yeah, him too. The price? Somewhere around $20 to $30 for the set...sounds like it’ll be thrown together quickly, no time for commentaries I’ll bet. And will I get it? Frakkin’ A!
