I guess you could say this is in tribute to the 30th Anniversary of the Original Star Wars film. I borrowed all six DVDs from one of my friends and I’ve just finished watching Episodes I, II, and III. I’ll finish up tomorrow.
Die-hard Star Wars Fans will have done this long ago. Most people slam the prequels. I don’t. They are sad, but necessary to tell the entire story George Lucas wanted to tell. Granted, he originally wanted to do 9 (or was it 12?) films, but getting it down to six is a monumental achievement.
It’s also a good thing he lets the fans play in the sandbox (so to speak), so long as they don’t make money. If you want to see some of those efforts, go to TheForce.net. And may the Force be with you.
